Amazing power, very easy to install. These things are simple, don't over think it. Barrel, motor, bag. If this were a shop vac it would be $100. Has an ametek motor that can be replaced after some thousands of hours.

This replaced an older unit by another manufacturer that was installed in a house we bought. The suction is really powerful compared to the old one. It always has a red warning light on or flashing, unable to find out why, it does not stop the unit from working so never called the manufacturer. It flashed red on the day I connected it and it is still flashing today about three years later. Also easy to replace the filter cartridge.

I don't write many reviews, but this unit went up to replace a different model that was in our home when we moved in a couple of years ago. I thought the old unit was fine, but suction degraded, I checked it out and tried to fix it and simply could not. I hesitated to buy this vacuum because it seemed too good to be true, but finally gave in. When it arrived it was in great condition, well packaged and getting it out and ready to go on the wall went quickly. I simply removed the old mount, mounted the bracket and was ready to try and fit the existing pipes. Be sure you either have your pipes lined up, flex hoses ready to go or someone to tackle that for you - something many overlook. Luckily I had ordered the necessary parts and had everything running in less than an hour.The difference between our old unit (it was less than 10 years old) and this one was night and day. The increased suction when we powered it up pulled things from the pipes that had probably been stuck in there for years. The noise level almost had me forget connecting to the exhaust piping because it simply was not as loud as the old one when it was hooked up. Once fully connected up, I can have a conversation in my garage with the unit running.The ONLY drawback I see is there is no connection on the unit (just fix one in with the piping) or on/off switch on the unit. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this purchase and I would definitely buy it again.

This vacuum is great. The size is huge so I won’t have to empty too often, the installation was easy with an impact concrete drill in my garage. The only down side was I have to redo all of my wall connectors to 2” size. This is my first time owning a home with a central vacuum so I won’t make that mistake again!

I was surprised to learn that it did not have any installation instructions whatsoever. I relied on my somewhat sensible abilities to install it. Overall, the installation went smoothly.This vacuum was used as a replacement for an existing vacuum machine that was defective. The cost of this vacuum was about the same as replacing the defective electrical motor in my existing vacuum and involved less effort, so it made sense to buy an entire new unit.

Great Vacuum if works! Had issues with my unit. Called and text EVO numerous times and no resolution. I kept telling them that there was something wrong with the unit - but they insisted it was my installation. Luckily for me; my in-laws had put this same unit in their home. I went and borrowed the unit and WOW it worked just fine. The included paperwork said that it has manufacturer's warranty; BUT they would not take it back and send me another. They insisted that it be returned thru AMAZON. I just sucked it up and bought a new unit and it works just fine. OVO sometimes your equipment is faulty. We are not perfect!

Bought this complete central vac system from OVO for new lakefront cabin, and installing it was a breeze with the matching install kit. Had a Beam system in last home and this system is more powerful, much, much quieter and a very reasonable price of $837 complete. It is so quiet that the installation in our utility closet cannot be heard in other parts of cabin-the noise of the suction from the hose & handle is louder-awesome. And the support from the company in Quebec, Canada (thank you Catherine Roux) was great-one minor piece failed during install and they shipped replacement immediately, arrived fast and now working. The added bonus is that it is manufactured in Canada, NOT China. Highly recommend for new construction or retrofit of other brands, most of which are made in China. Great product at a great price
