Must have for home owner
Best purchase for our house. No more forgetting to turn water off. App connects via Bluetooth. You can manually turn on using push button on it but it only stays on for 10 mins that way. To set long you need to use the phone app.

No instructions and no support
There was no instruction manual in my box (but I believe that is not the usual case) and there is no support number or email address. Setup help is limited to what is built into the app, but the app is 3rd-party, designed for many devices, this one not among those that are automated. Manual setup worked ok the first time, but the device "disconnected" when I was away and I could never get it to connect again, even after I: 1) got home 2) restarted everything (including my router) 3) reinstalled app 4) repeated setup steps. Update: after ordering a replacement, I did get basic instructions. This time the app updated the device and it does work somewhat better. I can report now that if the usb hub is within 30 feet of the valve AND the WIFI, then it stays connected even when bluetooth is turned off on the mobile defice hosting the app. In my case, that meant putting the usb hub outdoors (counter to the instructions). Indoors, on the other side of the wall, the USB hub won't stay connected to the valve. I have another AC outlet a few feet closer to the valve, but further from the router, the WIFI connect kept dropping. So, distance limitations are a serious downside of this system. Finally, the only manual control of the valve is a 10-minute on button, after which it shuts off. So, using the app is a necessity. That said, the app (or the server behind it) is a disaster. When I turn on a 'zone', there is often an up-to-5-minute delay before the water starts flowing. And there is even more delay for the app to reflect that the water is flowing. The app shows "time remaining", but that number does not update regurarily. I've had occasions where is still says '19 minutes left' days after the time expired and the sprinkler shut off. I do not recommend and look forward to improvements.

Makes gardening easier
It feels solid and built well, firm when held in my hand, and when attached to hoses. Once hooked up, the water flows well, and there are no leaks; it works great. It is easy to hook up to the hose and set the timer via the app. The app is a simple and easy download and is user-friendly. I can control when the water flows from wherever I am. I love the convenience it offers and taking a task off my hands.

Works though instructions are not the best
Works. Need to have a 2.4 GHz WiFi though. Had to create a second wifi access to make it work. Instructions are not the best but not too hard to figure out.

Decent—but flawed— basic irrigation system
Solid 3 star product. It works *most of the time*, and generally waters on the assigned schedule (as long as you don’t set rain delay, that hasn’t gone so well for me). The problem comes with any time you need to use a connected hose outside of the scheduled window. For some reason it always disconnects after 5-10 minutes and I have to go back into the app to turn the water back on. I thought setting auto shut off to 23:59 would work as maybe it was hitting up against that, but it still goes off in ten minutes. So it turns out that my water scheduling is set to water the backyard for the first ten minutes of every hour starting at 1000hrs. My front yard has drip lines that run from 0600-0959hrs, then it goes to the back yard. That ten minute interval for the backyard seems to have set a 10 minute shut off in all zones, meaning that the shortest interval you have set will be the longest your system will water. Overall, functionality is meh. If you just want to water for two hours straight and aren’t intending to use the fill suite of intended functions then it works great. I was looking for something that did the things this product was advertised to do, so unfortunately I’ll have to keep looking elsewhere.

Smart Watering Solution for My Garden
I’ve been using this WiFi Sprinkler Timer for a few weeks now, and it has made a big difference in how I manage my garden and lawn. The setup was quick and easy, and I was impressed with the solid build quality, especially the brass inlet, which feels durable and leak resistant. The dual zone control is a game changer and I can set different schedules for my lawn and flower beds without having to manually adjust anything. The WiFi connectivity works well, and the mobile app makes it super convenient to manage everything remotely, even when I’m not home. I really love is the rain delay function. It automatically pauses the schedule when rain is detected, which helps conserve water and prevent overwatering.

Timer is not reliable at all - App seems to need to be open all the time for timers to work.
So far not so great. (Read others 3 star and lower reviews for similar feedback) There is a 5 to 10 second delay when turning the faucets on and off via the Smart Life Application. This can get confusing if you can't confirm whether the water is actually running or not. I ended up pressing multiple times because it's hard to tell if your presses were successful or not. So far too, I've not managed to get any timers to work. Setting for 4am, Zone 1 to run for 2 hours every other day, after 3 days has never run (Some are saying you need to leave the app open for timers to work) Then today when I noticed the timer didn't run, I manually set mine to run for 2 hours. 3 hours later I looked at the app to make sure it shut off after 2 hours, but it was still running, and an error message popped up as I opened the App and navigated to the faucet device controls, saying "Zone 1 is closed, Outside water is closed was lost due to network issues" In fact, Zone 1 was NOT closed despite it being 3 hours later, and so I think the message (in bad English) was telling me that "Closing Zone 1 failed because of network issues.. but the faucet actually remained open and was still running. Incidentally, the wifi hub device for the faucet is positioned just 20 feet from my router, and about 10 feet from the faucet. My network is stable, and so I assume the network error occured because I closed down the app after manually starting the faucet.

This is a great and reliable product, some reviews suggest leaks etc. I would suggest this is probably user error, it even comes with a role of ptfe tape and all the fittings you will need. Take your time and it works a treat, super easy to install, and setup, I programmed two channels with ease, and it integrated with Alexa. The price is reasonable, I actually bought a single channel first, which acts as a master switch on the tap feeding to this one and others, my watering system has 4 channels, with over 90 pots to water my wife needed a solution. This gadget makes a task that took 45 minutes, into an automated solution, and controllable from my sofa. Would recommend.

Faulty from day 1 - leaking out of the tap connection despite trying all washer options and using the included PTFE tape. Seems to be a manufacturing fault. Thankfully the return through Amazon is straightforward, but I needed this in time for an imminent holiday. Shame as I really wanted a smart option but will probably need to go for a simple timer instead.

This wi fi operated timer can cover 2 zones in your garden to feed the plants. I purchased one more timer to create Zone 3and 4 but having some problems. The product is value for money and connectivity to tap is leak free.
