Hot Wheels Speed Series Building Set, Cadillac Project GTP Hypercar with 236 Pieces, Realistic Details and Custom Decals, Adult Collectors and Kids Ages 10+

This was an interesting build. I've built a lot of LEGO models over the years and this build was much like that experience except for the many parts that are nothing like LEGO parts. There are very flat parts and odd shapes compared to what I'm used to, but that's a good thing because it creates a sleek end product that is not as blocky as some LEGO builds. I'm very happy wire this new Matel building set. It's also cool to get a real Hot Wheels car as a bonus. I hope they branch out to other types of builds, not just the Hot Wheels cars.

Excellent Lego set , the car and Hot Wheel combo were worth the wait. As a matter of fact I ordered 2 more . The assembly instructions were right to the " T " . We'll worth the pice , value is worth . I had my 10 year old grandson build 1 , he did in about an hour

Great set. Easy to assemble due to great instructions. I would recommend this over a Lego brand set. Great details. Will be buying other cars.

Finally Mattel, like Revell, are going to proceed on building better bricks sets than that brand that charges %10000 times the price for poorly build sets---you know which one brand I am taking about, the one that starts with an L for loser, E for exaggerated price, G for greedy, and it ends with O for offensive. Supper great quality plastic and an amazing time building. I hope they build other things besides kids cars.

My first purchase of a Mattel Brick Shop set. On the fence on how to rate this. End result looks fantastic more realistic then a Lego Speed Champion set as Mattel has molded special pieces to meet the cars curves etc… Where the Big L will use std pieces and the car may have studs showing. This car has no studs visible and the end result looks like a real nice car. The clutch power is better than Lego, but with that said sometimes you have to press a bit harder to get things together. Once together nothing falls off, unlike the Big L where some pieces may be fragile. This set has printed parts so can be assembled with no stickers needed and looks great. But this is a racing car and what is a racing car without some sponsor and brand specific decals, so some stickers are provided and can be placed as you see fit. Would prefer that they add some additional prices, but still a great set. Plus for the price (less then the Big L, you get a set with comprable part counts and nice looking end product and a hot wheel to boot. So a much better value. All around fun to build. Would give it 5 stars if the clutch wasn’t so tight, but that is a minor complaint and based on personal preference. So I would highly recommend this set.

Great smaller build and a great alternative to Lego. I will knock it for the quality as in if you need to undo a block it looses its snug fit a bit nothing devastating but something to note. But still a great build and a great buy.

My little sister loved putting this together. She's 11 and did it with ease and patience.

Ich dachte, ich hätte schon alles gesehen, aber das Cadillac Project GTP Hypercar von Mattel hat alles, was ich je von einem Modell erwartet habe, übertroffen. 236 Teile? Mehr braucht es nicht, um ein echtes Meisterwerk zu schaffen! Erstmal zur Qualität – das ist kein Vergleich zu den "Steinen" aus Dänemark. Die Teile sind perfekt verarbeitet, die Passgenauigkeit ist beeindruckend, und die Farbtöne sind genau auf den Punkt. Alles passt und sieht aus wie aus einem Guss. Keine frustrierenden Momente! Die Details sind einfach der Wahnsinn. Die Felgen sind aus Metall – das ist eine Dimension, die die Dänen in ihren kits nicht mal im Ansatz bieten. Wer einmal Metallfelgen hatte, weiß, dass das Gefühl beim Bauen völlig anders ist. Und was mich am meisten begeistert hat: Diese Corvette hat mehr Persönlichkeit als viele Modelle mit doppelt so vielen Teilen. Kommen wir zum besten Teil – das Design. Mattel versteht es einfach, richtig coole Modelle zu entwerfen, die echten Rennfahrzeugen nachempfunden sind. Die Dänen kommen da nicht mal annähernd ran – ihr "Hypercar" sieht aus, als hätte es ein Kindergarten-Künstler in der Pause zusammengebaut. Hier hast du eine perfekte Mischung aus realistischem Design und futuristischer Eleganz. Fazit: Ein Bausatz, der den Dänen zeigt, wie man es richtig macht. Qualität, Präzision, und ein Design, das dich staunen lässt. Wenn du einen wahren Hypercar bauen willst, dann hol dir dieses Modell von Mattel. Die Dänen können einpacken – hier ist der wahre Standard! Da man hier nicht für zwei Unterschiedliche Produkte eine Wertung abgeben kann noch kurz zum 68er Camaro. Hier gebe ich drei Sterne da die Drucke verwaschen waren. 5 Sterne!
