This helped my 20 yr old cat!
I can't speak to the exact science or medical results, but I know this helped prolong my boy's life and gave him a better quality last year than he would have had judging by how things were before I started him on this. THAT'S what matters to me! I've already started my 6 yr old on other Fera supplements!

Kidney disease
This really seems to work. My 20 year old cat has stage 2-3 kidney disease. I began to give her 1/2 scoop in am - she is only 6.5 #s - and within a week she is like a much younger cat. She is more energetic. Eats better and goes outside again in our catio. She is awake more and interested in what her siblings are doing. She feels much better. I wish I would have started this earlier. Doesn’t seem to have a smell so she eats it in her wet food

Good supplement but messy to portion and give
I got this in addition to their regular probiotic powder since one of my cats is slowly approaching his senior years and kidney disease is one of the leading causes of death among cats. All my cats eat it in their food no problem. I think it has a noticeable scent but they don't seem to mind eating it. That being said, the serving size is one scoop which is a lot of powder to put on wet food. It's also somehow messier than their regular probiotic powder, possibly because it's a finer consistency. The quality of the product seems good but as I said, its just more messy. The scoop is also a different shape/size to their regular probiotics and is frequently buried under the powder. I don't love the idea of digging around in it to fish out the scoop since I'm worried about possible contsnimation. I don't tend to give the full scoop or give it every day for these reasons. I haven't noticed any effects from it but wasn't expecting to. My cats already had good digestive health and don't have low energy to begin with. Two of my cats do have dandruff that hasn't worsened or improved with this supplement. I wouldn't expect one of the applications of this powder to be improved skin health since it's marketed for kidney support. My goal is simply to try to prevent kidney disease if I can. Probiotics are always a good idea and there are plenty of studies showing their effectiveness in maintaining and improving health.

Seeing improvement in gut health
For 6 weeks my kitties are eating it mixed along with their food, daily. I see a big improvement in their litter habits, so it definitely has a positive impact on gut health. Will know more with regard to kidney function after the next bloodwork.

Not a miracle cure but seems helpful
My 14 year old cat has kidney disease and will eat this in tuna juice. I've given him a scoop a day for about three weeks, and I think its giving him more energy and helped with his hair loss. He's brought me two mice lately which is more like his younger self. Its not a huge improvement, but I do think its helping.

It works
My 15 year old male cat has been suffering from kidney disease. I’ve purchased the Fera kidney support and within two days my cat felt better. His sides were sunken in but now they have a popped back out. I love this probiotic. It is a game changer.

Help for Kidneys
My cat doesn't mind having it mixed into his wet food, so I assume it does not taste or smell funny! Since he has kidney issues, I'm hopeful this is helping.

So far my cat doesn't recognize I've added this to his food. Too early to know if it's helping his CKD. Customer service is excellent.

My cat has fairly advanced CKD, and I'm hoping that this supplement at least eases things for him. I have no disillusionment that this will be some sort of cure, I've been down this road before and it's going to end the same. All I can hope is that I can give a few more comfortable months to my kitty before it's time, and it's worth trying for that. From the ingredients list, I don't have much opinion, but nothing stands out as being too weird. So far it's going down well enough mixed into a meal, and hopefully I can slow the descent somewhat.

I have used a Fera Pets product prior to this one. The other one was a general wellness powder with probiotics. I used it as an alternative to a significantly higher priced probiotic medication that was vet-prescribed. I asked the vet about the other Fera Pet product & he looked it up & told me it was worth giving it a try - if it didn't work I could get the prescription. I have two fourteen year old littermates that were experiencing similar symptoms. So I tried it, it worked - no need for the expensive medication. When I saw this product & saw that in addition to Kidney-specific organic ingredients it also had probiotics, I requested it & have been using it. I cannot say that THIS particular product has 'cured' anything but I can say that I feel good about giving it to my two extremely food-fussy felines. They will not eat anything wet, no canned food, no damp food, nothing - unless it's dry kibble in their bowl. They have been known to accept a dry treat when it's been placed in their bowl. I've had cats my entire life & never encountered this bizarre behavioral response to food. But, that's cats for you ; ). My reason for sharing this info. is because I couldn't help but wonder how Fera Pet dry powder support supplement would work sprinkled on top of dry food. Would it be palatable? Would they eat it or flee the scene of their food? I was highly skeptical but that disappeared when I saw them actually eat it. The bottom line for me is that I have two late/middle-aged furry-faced roommates that I want to help stay healthy in any way I can for as long as I'm able. As a member of the Vine Program, I received this product free of charge in exchange for sharing my experience & thoughts in review-form here. One of the questions I ask myself prior to posting a review is the following: Knowing what I know now about this product, would I purchase it using my own money? In this case, the answer is yes. And, as it's available as a Subscribe & Save option, I will be purchasing it by using that choice. It will save me some money, it will save me from needing to remember to order more before I run out, & I know that I can pause, skip or cancel deliveries at any time, for any reason, no questions asked. If you've read this far then I hope something I've said has helped you make up your mind. Good luck to you & your fur baby/ies! Note: The use of capital letters is for emphasis only.

We recently lost our senior cat to lymphoma and kidney tumor. Most of the cats we have cared for had one form of renal issue or another as they aged, so my daughter and I have always been super keen on maintaining the cats' kidney health. As a rule I do not feed our animals any supplements or food manufactured in China. Period. This supplement caught my eyes because it is manufactured in the US, and it is offered by an independent brand owned by a vet and her best friend. Our newly adopted cat is still fairly young at 1.5 years old, but one should never start optimizing their health when it is too late. In addition to feeding him (and the dog) homemade wet food using human-grade ingredients, he is also taking omega-3 supplement through his food. We just recently added this supplement to his diet, and so far he is still gobbling down his food and we are not observing any changes to his behaviour or appearance. Packaging: this product is sealed in a plastic wrap. The container is vacuum sealed. Once the seal is removed, you will see a scoop in the container. Professional packaging. Appearance and Smell: The power does not appear clumpy open unsealing the container, and it does not have an offensive odour. Ingredients: This product is packed with probiotics and other supplements such as astragalus root, rehmannia root, and cordycep which are all well-known antioxidants with many Immunol benefits. These ingredients are all organic but that is not the deciding factor for me because organic garbage is still garbage. Quality: This product is made in the USA in a GMP facility and it is NASC certified.
