1923: A Yellowstone Origin Story: Season Two

Excellent production and actors. Well worth having in th eDVD library.

great to have dvd to complete set. loved the story line-but some scenes were totally unnecessary. Taylor Sheridan does not need to be a star in his stories. Good writer but not good actor

Great series

Season Two - Part of the second chapter of the Yellowstone story (after 1883 & before Yellowstone 1-5). As with the first season, it quickly envelopes you within the character/plot line and moves into early Montana years. Superb acting and story line makes it one to remember. Mirren and Ford play perfectly together to represent the earliest settlers in the Montana region, building the basis for the ranch that becomes Yellowstone. Greatly enjoyed; will watch it again down the road when the memory fades a little.

Just finished season 2. I loved season 1, especially the Spencer/ Alex arc and couldn't wait for season 2. The series is just great, good writing, authentic to the time, great casting, and very enjoyable. Unfortunately the ending didn't turn out how I would have liked (reason for the 4 stars), but it did end in a way that didn't leave me wanting a season 3 since the story line was done with. Will be interesting to see if there is a new series after this one. Definitely worth watching and I recommend it like I have done with many of my co workers and most loved it.

Best of the Yellowstone series (early years) entirely due to Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren who are legendary talents.

Season 2 is great. They do a fair job portraying this period in time.

Everyone was telling me to watch Yellowstone when that first came out, I was like nah, still yet to watch an episode, but both this and 1883 I'd watch over and over again, the fact they were able to talk Harrison Ford into TV was a plus, and the story alone just wow, mind you, you will have to watch it once or twice to finally get it, or just watch the special features like I did.

Even if you've never watch Yellowstone you can watch 1923 and you will still enjoy it. I wish they would have kept this show going but at the same time I'm kind of happy they didn't because I don't want to have to buy anymore seasons lol. There's not many shows that I'll actually buy the series on Blu-ray but Yellowstone along with 1883 and 1923 were well worth the purchase. It's one of the few shows that I'll be able to rewatch AT LEAST once every 2 years for many years to come. Picture quality and audio quality are top notch.
