Rayon, this bamboo viscose rayon for example, is a wonderful fiber. It’s made of cellulose, just like cotton and linen, so it feels natural and breathable. But it can be finer and smoother than cotton and linen, making for the softest, most comfortable clothes ever. This comfort comes at a price. My rayon clothes wear out faster than my cotton clothes. I just replace them with more rayon. It helps that they’re cheap. I try to get them to last longer by washing them by hand or in the machine in a delicates bag, and hanging them or laying them flat to dry. These bamboo racerback tanks are perfect examples of rayon. They’re amazingly soft, and I don’t mean like microfiber polyester or nylon workout wear. That stuff may be soft, but it’s not breathable, so it’s like wearing a plastic bag. This is both soft like silk and truly breathable like linen. It feels almost like wearing nothing. It also looks almost like wearing nothing. I’m 5’4” and 100 pounds. I usually wear a size S or XS in American sizes of women’s clothes, or sometimes children’s sizes, down to children’s size 12 or so. I got this in size S. It’s perfectly comfortable, doesn’t feel tight or restrictive at all, but it’s worth noting that the light grey shirt shows EVERY detail of my shape. I mean, I can see individual muscles, ribs, moles… The light grey is surprisingly opaque, so skin colors don’t show through, but it shows shape like a thin layer of bodypaint. The black fits the same way, but because it reflects less light, doesn’t make tiny details quite as obvious. The black shirt lost a small amount of dye the first time I hand washed it, and dried fast. Then I wore it for an active day, much of it spent with my 5-year-old pulling on my shirt. Our activities included on a long walk, and of course he wanted to be carried for much of it, squirming to be put down, then pulling to be picked up again. The shoulder straps never slipped down, and by the end of the day, the shirt still fit like paint. It hadn’t stretched out or gotten floppy at all. So, if comfort is important to you, and the main reason you wear a shirt in summer is to grudgingly meet society’s demand that you wear a shirt in public, these are the shirts for you.

What I don't like is the cheap material and it is not long at all.
