SEIKO 11 Inch St James Brushed Metal Wall Clock, Black

This is actually my second Seiko clock - my first one lasted 9 years before finally dying, which says a lot about the quality and durability. Why I repurchased: The silent, non-ticking feature is essential to me. I can't stand the constant ticking sound from traditional clocks, and this one is completely quiet. The modern, sleek design also looks great on any wall without being distracting. Practical features: It's surprisingly lightweight, which makes installation easy - no need for heavy-duty anchors or worrying about it falling. Only requires 1 AA battery, and the battery life is excellent. I'm not constantly replacing batteries like with some other clocks. Price consideration: Yes, it's a little expensive for "just a wall clock," but considering mine lasted nearly a decade with minimal maintenance, the cost per year is actually quite reasonable. Quality over quantity.

My SEIKO clock of 25 years finally went. So naturally I looked for another. It looks perfect and no second hand noise like my original one. I’m very happy with my purchase. It’s light weight too which I wanted.

I love it! Just what I wanted. Beautiful subtle design that bland with my decor; quiet as promised and is a SEIKO brand that based on past experience, it a brand to trust. So content with this purchase and it definitely worth the price.

This clock is Awesome! Quiet as the still of the night. Exactly what I wanted. If I had to find anything at all wrong with it, it would have to be the sweep hand is hard to see depending on the angle of light in the room. They could easily make it black like the hour and minute hand but it's nothing really to complain about. My hearing is extremely sensitive (I can hear a pin hit the carpet) and it seems like every new generation of battery powered clocks get louder. A ticking clock is like a time bomb ready to go off any moment so I was looking for a quiet clock with a sweep hand for my kitchen wall and this beauty hit the bulls eye. I love the smooth sweep instead of jerky movements. It has a plastic cover but you don't notice it and just to take a quick peek you'd think it was glass. The white rim on the outside matches my appliances perfectly. It's loverly! I would recommend this clock to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful clock for any room, any reason, any price. My kitchen clock is so cute. Expensive. Cuckoo with Tinkerbell. Tink sweeps out on the hour...well the wire broke and her one door stays open...ok...what time is it? Can't really see it very well, so I painted the clock hands....better. Finally when the time was way off, instead of changing the batteries on the half broken back door. Decided after looking and looking to purchase this clock. And why did I wait? LOVE IT! Looks nice and sleek and modern. The clear rim allows the clock to blend in with any decor. The white rim goes well with my white kitchen cabines. The second hand softly and quietly sweeps along. Tink is retired to the basement play room. Now I actually at a glance know what time it is! Even came with a battery and a screw. Nice quality. So glad I went for it!

This watch looks very nice. I like the color and design. It's quiet and worked well for five months. However, it suddenly stopped working, and new batteries don't fix the problem. Surprisingly poor quality considering it's a Seiko, a brand world-renowned for its excellent quality and durability. It only lasted a year for me “ which is very expensive for its lifespan”

I've only had this since Jan. 12/2024, so it's not even two months. But so far the time has been very accurate. I like the quiet second hand sweep. Contrary to other reviews, I don't find this clock hard to read at all. The 2nd hand is a light silver but I wouldn't want it to be more prominent, as you really only want to see the main hands most of the time. It's a nice looking clock. It looks a bit on the cheaper side, but I've come to love it very much. If I have any issues with it, I will update my review.
