I really wanted to like this tool. It looks very nice and well made except the reading for voltage is off! I like the reading for polarity, (I’d rather the green light be on for correct polarity) and the cord with probe cap is works well. The biggest problem is the voltage reading is not accurate. On a 12 volt car battery I get a reading of over 16 volts. So basically this for me is only a test light for continuity that will also let me know if polarity is correct. Review Edit. Seller offered me a refund right away. But since I don’t check my emails very often I didn’t see offer for around 2 months. I contacted seller to see if offer was still good. The seller refunded my money so I purchased another circuit testers. This second tester works excellent, I checked a battery that I had just charged it showed 13.1 volts. I checked the battery in my car it showed 12.3 volts. This tester appears to be accurate as the voltage numbers are within what I expected. I tested batteries with a meter and the voltages are within 0.2 between meter and test light. I would buy again from this seller as I’m very pleased with their after sale service.

This is a great tester getting just a little light showing up it actually shows you the voltage of what your testing. It is simple and easy to use. I really like this small convenient tester.

This LED testlight worked well for me. I used it while installing a lighter plug and also when I was looking for a blown fuse in my truck. Very easy to see the readout, and to green light helped me greatly. Seems durable - I dropped it onto my concrete driveway without damage. I wish there green {Hot} light was a little brighter. Regardless.. a good tester at a great price.

This is such a cool, handy device. Most of the work I do, as a hobbyist, is to check for voltage and that's primarily 90% of my volt/ohm meter usage. But I also have a single player 48 volt golf cart. And right now I am in the midst of doing some upgrades installing a inverter to drop the voltage down to 12 volts, to add some Led lighting. The wiring on this wasn't top-notch, and I had to cut a bunch of useless stuff away. So now, I need to determine what is hot and when, and what that voltage is. As soon as I got this thing I ordered three more. I want them to be laying all around where I can easily find one. My opinion, worth what you paid for it...

Works as advertised. Build quality if ok for the price.

This thing is awesome and super convenient!

What is to know, it has a digital volt meter inside the handle and a small LED light. What it does not have is a cheap connector or clip that falls off the first time it's used most every maltimeter I have ever used. This thing is reliable and very easy to use.
