In Australia it’s difficult to find a multi region DVD player, let alone Blu Ray player. The limited availability of players is restricted to lower quality. Yes, it’s Blu Ray, but the sound is generally poor and the pic is HD only. This player upscales to 4K and gives great sound quality. All in all a better experience watching movies. The DVDs are played automatically. The Blu rays need a simple selection process to change regions. It also came with the adapter to allow me to plug it into Australian power points. No need for fiddly power adapters, There is no extensive manual explaining settings etc. the player also allows Wi-Fi connection to internet, and built in Netflix and YouTube The inclusion of a high quality HDMI cable is a bonus My only real complaint is that it is quite expensive compared to the same model (not multi regioned) in Australia

My old Samsung zone/region free K8500/ZA 4K/3D Blu-ray player drive door wouldn't properly eject/close after 9+ years of heavy usuage... I bought this mainly for it's 3D Blu-ray, 4k UHD Blu-ray and it's zone/region free capability. I hooked up this LG UBK90 player on my 2 Samsung TVs a JS9500 and JS7500 4K 3D TVs. The Blu-ray A+B+C all work. DVD regions 1 thru 6 all work. Blu-ray 4k 2160p works, Blu-ray 3D 1080p works, Blu-ray 1080p works. Regular DVD 480p works. The up conversion to 2160p was clean. The pictures were razor sharp in all viewing modes. My Samsung TVs use active 3D glasses and the picture was exceptionally sharp on the LG UBK90 player. Wifi Wireless internet works. RJ45 Internet works. Fiber optic audio works. Played optical picture DVDs and audio CDs just fine. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. No brick and mortar stores where I live sell 3D Blu-ray players any longer. A friend told me Amazon still sold them, thank you Amazon. All of us who spent big coin years ago on 3D TVs at brick and mortar stores seem to have been forgotten about! I could have bought a cheaper 4k/3D Blu-ray player zone and region free, but I have a friend who has a Samsung JS7500 3D TV and he bought this same LG UBK90 zone/region free Blu-ray player and he's had zero issues with zone free Blu-rays and region free DVDs. I read too many reviews of other brands of zone/region free players about an issue occurring with this after market option. He's never had one, so the extra price was piece of mind. Some times you do get what you pay for! I'm perfectly satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking to replace their old 3D Blu-ray player. With this player you can now buy 3D Blu-ray out of zone. Which will greatly increase your 3D movie library because you just can find many 3D movies in the American market place anymore, but in the B & C zones European and Asian markets theres ALOT of available 3D Blu-ray movies! They all have English audio, atleast all the ones I've bought have. You'll definitely like that if you enjoy 3D at home. I have over 320+ 3D Blu-ray movies because of the A+B+C Blu-ray play options. Plus hundreds of older regular Blu-ray and DVD movies no longer available in the American market place because of zone/region free purchases.

I misplaced the instruction "manual" (1 sheet of paper). Can anybody advise how to set regions for BluRay playback? DVDs and OK. I think that is hard-coded. Just the tricky BluRay regions (A, B & C) settings. Please help if able. Thanks.
