Description

One sheet of 3M 9474LE double-linered and double-coated adhesive transfer tape, more commonly called "double-sided adhesive." It features 3M's super-strong 300LSE adhesive. 3M 300LSE adhesive bonds extremely well with metal, wood, plastics, hard leather, suede, fabrics, and rubber. 3M 300LSE bonds even with Acrylic and other so-called "Low Surface Energy" (hence the “LSE” designation in 300LSE) plastics that don't bond well with other glues. 3M's 9474LE is 3M's most sophisticated design of 300LSE-based double-sided adhesives. It comprises three layers, two adhesive layers, 2.8 mils and 3.4 mils thick, and, sandwiched between them, a thin polyester carrier, 0.5 mils thick. This sandwiched design provides much improved handling characteristics, especially for cutting with knives or scissors. In contrast, after cutting a simpler single-layer 300LSE-based sheet with a knife or with scissors, the edges along the cut tend to stick together, making it almost impossible to peel the liners off cleanly. The triple-layer sheets of genuine 3M 9474LE offered here cause no such problems, they can be cut by knife or scissors and liners still come off cleanly.
