If you have to use something overnight for dry mouth definitely get these. I use one nightly with my mouth guard. The orange flavor is very nice and it dissolves slowly overnight. It's small enough to do the trick, but not be overpowering. It stays put. And it works. Definitely notice the improvement inside my mouth.

I get dry mouth and mouth sores from taking Dramamine and bonine (or scopalomine patches) for motion sickness, so these help at night to soothe that. I'm able to use lozenges during the day, but night time has been a problem. They're kind of a pain to place and hold for a few seconds to stick, but they stay put after that.

Updated after seeing the dentist: I was at my dentist's office today and I asked him about This product. I brought in the product itself and had him look at it with his own two eyes. He said that anything that goes on the gum line like that on a regular basis is not good for the gums and the teeth. This is great for occasional use but somebody like me dealing with dry mouth for medication is not their ideal customer. The dentist was able to prescribe me something that helps saliva production. Throwing that out there in case anybody else has the same issue as I do. I felt obligated to write this after getting back from the dentist. I was hesitant after trying some other dry mouth products that were basically sugar-free candy as to the effectiveness of this product but I was pleasantly surprised. These work - and quickly. Easy to use - just stick it in your mouth on your gums or in your cheek and the saliva begins to flow immediately. They are small, comfortable in your mouth and a great price for the quantity. The flavor is great too. I'm not a huge fan of mint so having this berry flavor was a nice option. I take medication that changes the pH level in my mouth and recently discovered cavaties as a result. I haven't used any other products quite like this so I'm giving it 4 stars until I can compare it to something else. I'm completely satisfied. The other thing I was kind of concerned about was swallowing it or inhaling it. Once it's in your mouth, it's clear that it will stay put. I'm glad I gave this a shot.

"Xylimelts - I have dry mouth from what I thought was a new medication. I stopped the medication about two weeks ago and it has not improved. I am continuing to use these until I follow up with my doctor. At first I tried these using one disk and it did not seem to work. I tried them again using two and it works a lot better. So, I now use these two disks at a time. If I use them at night, they seem to last about 4 hours. If i use them during the day, they last about 30 minutes. The effects do not last all that long during the day but I do also use Act lemon lozenges. The package says that you can put them on the gums but I put them on the roof of my mouth. I have had no issues getting any of them to stick. Flavors - At my local stores the only flavor is mint. It is way too strong. Using the mint ones would irritate my mouth after a while. Unfortunately, that seems to be the only flavor that most dry mouth products are.....mint. So my quest began to locate products that are not mint. I found these here on Amazon. They come in multiple flavors. Here is my breakdown of the flavors and my thoughts on each. Mild mint (4*) - Better than the regular mint but still mint. It is as described and the mint is not as strong. Slightly Sweet (5*) - Probably my favorite alternative to the mint. They are exactly as described. The have a slightly sweet flavor. It is not overwhelming. Berry (5*) - This was a nice change. It again is a slight berry flavor. Not overpowering or overwhelming. Cinnamon (1*) - This is probably my least favorite. The flavor was ok (it tastes like a very mild fireball) but it didn't seem to lubricate very much and after it was gone it felt like my mouth was drier than before. Orange (4*) - It has a pleasant orange flavor. Sensitive/unflavored - I have not tried this one yet. I probably will not. The reviews of the change in adhesive makes me leary to try it."

it gave me stomach problems. I felt it when I woke up the next morning. I tried one pellet and it did the same. As far as the product working it was ok, but that is all.

Best tasting XyliMelts available. I prefer this brand over others for the price, flavor and melt time. The back could be stickier enabling it to stay put instead of migrating.

These aren't as good as advertised. They don't really stick, they don't alleviate dry mouth, they don't taste very good, and the gluey side is bitter. I didn't like them.

Absolutely helped with dry mouth.

I have used these before, and although the first time sticking the tiny tablet to my gum line seemed odd, it definitely works! No more dry mouth while sleeping . I think the pkg suggests one on each side of the mouth, but I use just one.

At last I found something that is effective for dry mouth and is lasting . These melts work for me easy to apply and no nasty taste. I thorghly recommend

They work well. Last all night if that's when you need them.
