eight batteries
I used these cables on eight batteries and I am very satisfied.

An easy solution if you need heavy gauge cables
They're well made. The lugs are plated copper (I filed an edge), and they are cleanly crimped under the heat shrink. They are stiff, as you might expect looking at the drawing showing fewer larger strands in the cable. If you need (or want) more flexible cabling, consider welding cable, but be prepared to pay more. The cable is not marked the way you might expect for US made cable (or cable more target for the US market), so you're on your own deciding whether it meets the necessary standards. The listing says 5/16 -M8 in the header, then references 3/8 in the description. It's 5/16 - M8. This is an easy way to connect an inverter to a battery, or to parallel a pair of batteries, especially if you don't have access to the necessary crimping tools. One star off for the lack of standards marking.

Good wire
Crimps are good, wire is good, nothing bad to say about it. These will work nicely in my setup

Premium price, but not the quality.
These cables seem to be appropriate thickness for 2AWG as advertised. They do feel well made overall, but the connectors are not as solid as they should be and wobble too much. They sell it at the premium price, but it does not look like premium quality. I am not sure I would buy this brand again.

So far so good.
I got this cable to connect a battery to a terminal block to power a few things at my property. The description says it's made of tinned copper wire and terminal ends. I can't confirm unless I cut the cables. Pros Seems well made with a silicone insulation. Crimping on the lugs look good and covered with shrink wrap. Cons None so far Overall, so far so good. I'm going to need more of these as my DIY battery project gets bigger.

Nice Kit For Inverter
I made an inverter and battery kit and saw these were already made and heavy duty. Ordered 3 sets and connected two batteries and an inverter with them. It's important that all the wires between the batteries be the same size and these were within 5/16th's of each other. Great price and shipped quickly.

Not appropriate for marine applications.
This review is for the DC HOUSE 12 inch, 2AWG, Battery Cables with M8 lugs. These are good battery cables. They are not perfect and not everything claimed (not water proof for example), but these should work for most people. End-to-end, the cables I received are 14 inches long. The terminal pads are thick and look to be appropriate for 2 gauge conductors. The lugs appear to be hydraulically crimped. They are on rock solid. The heat shrink is done right on all but one connection. The heat shrink tubing is not adhesive lined and the lugs used are not sealed on the end to keep out moisture and prevent corrosion. So, these would be a poor choice for any marine application. The 2 gauge wire lacks any information printed on the outside about the size of the conductor and the properties of the insulation.

Good quality cables
I got these to connect to a battery that I keep in the shop for testing. These cables are good quality. The terminal ends are secure and tight. The cables measure slightly more than the advertised 12" so I am happy about that.

Works great connecting 2 batteries, better than DIY this critical connection! Just long enough to crisscross connection.
