Bigger than it looks
I love these Eafengrow knives because they're robust, strong, and dirt cheap. This one is larger than I thought it would be, looking at the pictures. It's also more robust than it looks in the pictures, built tough and heavy. I use Eafengrows as my exclusive EDC knives because they're well made enough to get the job done, whatever the job is, and if I break it or lose it I won't have a nervous breakdown over it. I'll just spend another thirty bucks and order another. I've got several knives from this manufacturer and I've been uniformly pleased with every single one. Every one of them opens and closes easily (ball bearing pivots) and locks up like the door of a bank vault. Some have complained about the opening of this knife, saying the flipper tab is too small. Sure, it could use a slightly longer tab but it took me about fifteen seconds to figure out the mechanics of opening it instantly and believe me, it's no problem at all. If you look at the blade you'll see some cutouts up near the spine. I don't know that they were intended as such but you can put your thumb on that section and open the knife like a conventional folder, and it works just as well as one with a big hole cutout or thumb stud. Believe me, for the ridiculously low price you can't go wrong with this blade.

Highly Recommended!
I have one other Eafengrow knife, and both are surprisingly good values for so little money! This knife came razor sharp right out of the box, the materials and craftsmanship are first rate, and the look and design of this knife is actual on the exotic end of the spectrum! Someone else mentioned it, but the one thing I'm not crazy about us the pocket clip. It just seems totally underwhelming, given the exotic look of the rest of the knife. I'm right handed, and one of the things that surprised me a lot is that this knife is just as easy to flip open with my left hand as it is in my right hand! That's a very rare feature, in my experience! I own a LOT of knives, with quite a few in the 150 and above price range. Based on the reviews and (now) my own experience, I can highly recommend this flipper to anyone looking for a very sharp, inexpensive EDC blade that does everything I'd ever want a knife to do ... AND it just flat looks COOL!

ALMOST perfect.
This is a fantastic knife. It is sharp, holds an edge, looks amazing, has a PHENOMENAL grip for a flip open knife, (you can REALLY, get a good grip on it without worrying about your hand slipping up and cutting yourself on the blade) but it has one minor flaw. It's hard up open. The flipper is really high up on the knife and it takes some getting used to. But, it's worth it. Such a great knife in every other way. I'm only leaving 4 stars in hopes the seller sees this and can maybe do something about moving the flipper paddle back down the handle to make it easier to reach and open. But, honestly, none of changes how great this knife it. I highly recommend you buy it. Safest flip over, non- fixed blade on the market. And, it's good looking, sharp and D2 steel is such a great steel for an EDC pocket knife. I have LOTS of pocket knives and this ranks #2 for best pocket knife I own. (It would be number one if the flipper peddle to open the knife were easier to reach). You can't go wrong with this purchase. I'm very happy. EDIT: I have found that using the flipper tab is the least effective way to open this knife. Instead, it's the blade itself to open it one handed. The blade has cutouts and a little ledge on the top at the same height where you would normally find a flipper trash. Those cutouts allow you to get a SOLID grip with your thumb and flip it open easily. Duh.. why didn't I think of that before. It took a few times to practice getting used to reaching for the top of the blade with my thumb instead of the back of knife with my pointer finger, but once I got used to opening it with my thumb it was very easy. It's just a simple re-training of the brain. I'd update it to 4.75 stars if that was an option now that I've retrained my brain. Plus with this handle design they did the best the could. I've looked this over and there is no way for them to change the location of the flipper paddle unless you had some sort of piece of metal sticking down at the back part of the blade. Which might be kind of convenient. It would make it kind of like a sword cross guard or a tsuba if you're more familiar with samurai swords, but more like a cross guard. Which, could actually be pretty nice as long as it didn't get in the way.

GOOD BUT WITH A FEW RESERVATIONS
Solid knife for the money but with a few caveats. Feels a little bit odd in the hand for some reason. Partly due to the type of scales used and partly to design I think. Gonna super-glue some good grip rubber to the scales which should help. But knife itself is well made, solid lock up, blade is straight and true, steel is OK, sharpens well. All in all happy with purchase. Would give it four stars if not for the handle issue.

Another great knife from Eafengrow
I really like this knife. Eafengrow is fast becoming one of my favorites. I have three of their knives now. The ball bearing action is my favorite part. Craftsmanship is superior overall with little blade knife f any and edges are precise all around. All that said. This is a large knife. And I have xl hands. I was looking for a large knife, but others should know that this isn’t a casual edc. It’s big AF. Good for camping etc. the green handles were a first for me. They make it easier to find and look nice as well. Just a little different from other options. The handle thickness is also of note. This makes it good for using, but large in the pocket. You’ll be aware of it when moving around. Overall a good substantial knife but don’t try and conceal it too much.

I like it.
It's a good knife and seems to keep the edge. My diamond sharpener sharpens it no problem so I'm unsure about it being d2 steel. Handle looks odd but feels good. Only real issue is the clip which is hard to clip to my pants or belt. The locking mechanism is awkward at first but good. It has metal inside the handles so it's sturdy. Also has a mirror polish on the steel in the handle.

Well built knife
The knife is well built, with a comfortable handle and sharp blade. The action is smooth but the activation nub is a bit small. Not a deal breaker and is probably intended to not snag on anything but takes several openings to get used to. The handle is a polymer which works well here in the desert and is very durable. I like the design of the blade shape and angle. The belt clip is a bit small but this is a personal preference.
