EXCELLENT! Sea light has never failed to impress me with their products, and this is no exception. PROS: - BRIGHT! - White light for improved visibility - designed to work perfectly with fixture reflectors CONS: - When turned on without the engine running, the heat sink fans can faintly be heard. I have no idea hot this is a negative trait, but I wanted to add at least one "con" and this is the only thing I can think of. INSTALLATION These headlights are no more difficult to install than a standard bulb. Be sure to use the included gloves, to avoid getting hand and skin oil on the LED surface. COMPATIBILITY Although the heat sink includes a tiny fan, the product description indicates these are designed to work in enclosed fixtures with the dust cap installed. I've had these installed in two cars for the past month and have seen no problems. Although the LEDs are mounted on the sides of the fixture, the reflectors built into the headlight housing still reflect light perfectly. The design adheres to the dimension informed of a regular incandescent bulb, and light reacts accordingly. I see no different in neither light pattern nor coverage for either high or low beam. (My cars require four of these lights: two for high beam, and tro for low beam.) YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH SEALIGHT!

Updated: Seller eventually responded and sent out decoders to try and solve the issue. Once installed the issues went away. Additionally, I would say these lamps are several times brighter than traditional Halogens I Additionally, the beam pattern and spread when installed in the factory housings are practically identical to halogen. However, I did and do recommend doing a headlight adjustment at 25 feet after installing. Mine were shooting pretty high, before this. Overall, pretty stellar lights after adjusting housings and installing decoders. Life expectancy is still to be determined. Installed in an '06 Ford F150 after I polished and sealed up the factory housings. Lights seem like quite a bit brighter, but without blinding on coming traffic. That's where it stops being good. I find out the hard way during a very foggy and dark morning, that when I turned on my fog lights it activated the brights and no matter what I can't go back to low beams when using the fog lights. I can only switch from low to high beams without using the fog lights. I sent an email to Seallight's support about the issues I am experiencing on 11/4/25, but have yet to get any response from them.

Really bright and they fit well. I am glad there are additional o-rings included. I had to use 2 different sized rings for left and right. I enjoy the upgrade at a reasonable price.

Very easy to hook up & nice bright light lot better then what I had before

bought these to replace the other ones that I got from amazon about a year ago because they went out all of a sudden after roughly about 12 months. The price is awesome and the quality is awesome. I love how easy they are to install. I literally ordered them once I found out that one of my headlights was out and literally within 8 hours they show up and I was able to slap them on before going to work this morning. Thanks !

These lamps appear to be of high quality; however, one of the two L2S 9005 bulbs is defective. One of the two LED chips is not functioning. There is no fix for this; only replacement. Amazon Support is a separate division from when you shop directly from SEALIGHT. Sealight-Amazon has been slow to respond, and there is no return option for defective items. I don't want to go around SEALIGHT by contacting Amazon directly to complain and return a faulty part, but this may be my only option.
