I wish this product was still available. Melatonin never worked for me. Only 1 pill (not the recommended dosage) knocked me out, kept me asleep, and I didn't wake up droggy.

However, I noticed that its effectiveness diminished with repeated use, and I had to cycle it to maintain its efficacy. It's important to note that one of the active ingredients, diphenhydramine, is an anticholinergic. According to research, anticholinergics may impede memory formation and could potentially have long-term consequences for brain health. As a result, I have decided to use this product more sparingly. Overall, Excedrin PM can be helpful for occasional sleeplessness, but it's crucial to be aware of the potential side effects and to use it judiciously.

This works great without leaving me with a bad feeling in the morning. I get a great nights sleep and don’t feel drugged. It isn’t hard to wake up in the morning after taking this. Most of the time I take a half of one to get a good nights sleep.
