No Manufacturer Warranty on products purchased through the internet
Great product (though a bit pricey for the homeowner). Buyers should be aware that Goulds (Xylem Inc) does NOT warrant, in any way, their products that are purchased over the internet. Supposedly this is to protect contractors by "ensuring that installation of the product is performed safely and in accordance with codes..."). Installation is pretty straightforward and nobody is going to spend a thousand bucks on something and then jerry rig it. Sad that Goulds doesn't have more confidence in its (pricey) products that they look for any way to not back up their workmanship - even for one day! For this reason, I give a decent product three stars.
