Delectable flavor! It may seem pricey but it's worth every penny! The ingredients say it all - largely made from cheese and milk products - it's the real deal. I use a small strainer to sift it over lightly buttered popcorn - yummy!

Overly detailed review below! - I didn't get this for 'cheese' uses (sauces/popcorn), but for seasoning; sprinkle this on apples, eggs, DEFINITELY veggies, chicken, etc! (Semi-Pro Tip: get a shaker to fill with large holes, for easier application). ;) I'm a runner, very health conscious, and eat a lot of steamed vegetables, but I don't like to coat them in the excess calories of butter, but sometimes basic seasoning and salt is a little plain, and things like Kernal Seasons get expensive for the amount, and I'm not a fan of HV Ranch powder (too sour), so I started looking for an alternative to start making my own, more interesting seasoning options, especially with less additives! This white cheddar powder is my first purchase to achieve my seasoning goals, particularly because it was on Subscribe and Save, so I can include it with my other regulars, and I'm definitely not disappointed! (Though the shipment did have a cracked lid, probably from the weight of other subscription items, but the product was still sealed, at least). It honestly surprised me with how flavourful it is. I legitimately did not expect it to be so good! I'm not much for cheese consumption, unless it's really flavorful, and this is pretty great without being overpowering. It can almost stand on its own on veggies, but I do like adding extra salt (I like things very salty). To my senses, the aroma is similar to parmesan, and the flavor is like that of those square sandwich crackers, the club with the cheese filling (the kind that come in the packs of six, like their companion orange crackers that have PB), but that odd description is a POSITIVE thing! It's pretty darn cheesy. I plan to try other Hoosier Hill Farm powders to use plainly and to blend, but so far, this is a great start. It's good mixed with pretty much any herb and seasoning blend I've tried (as long as you consider flavor profile and salt level preferences), it was phenomenal on this morning's eggs, and as stated, it's fantastic on apples (if you like things like fruit in fondue). I'd think it'd be good for chili, rice, pasta, various meats, tacos, casseroles, etc. Or just...use a spoon. Totally normal.

This cheese powder is great in a pinch or to enhance flavor. It smells good and if cooked properly the texture should turn out smooth. The ingredients are clean. I add garlic and onion powder and a little Dijon mustard to the mix to lift the flavor.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I got tired of paying for white cheddar popcorn (that comes in a small bag), as well as the (orange) cheddar pasta. I prefer white cheddar... this container of REAL white cheddar cheese will pay for itself before I use half of it. If I only use it to flavor popcorn, it will pay for itself after 5 servings! I plan on using it on Yakisoba noodles as well... I think white cheddar tastes better than the mild or sharp (orange) cheddar cheese. I'm going to try it with parmesan, to make cheese 'chips' in thr air fryer... as well as sprinking it on cauliflower.

This stuff is delicious, I use it when I make jambalaya, quarter cup when I start and another once everything is together cooking, it's very good
