It's a beauty.
Love this watch. So good looking and clear to read. Light on the wrist. Solar powered and radio controlled timing. Pheww. And built in light to read time in the dark.

Casio Excellence
This is a replacement for a very similar Casio watch I have had for many years but I finally broke. The radio control works very well and has not let me down over the many years I have been wearing it. I have not treated it kindly over the years and it has never let me down. The old one is scratched and dented and the bracelet has finally given up the ghost. And it's lost its bezel but it still refuses to die. I will not dispose of the old one but keep it and pin it on a wall somewhere. Oh, yes, I forgot to mention but the solar charging also works brilliantly and it has never stopped. So, if you are looking for an excellent timepiece that stands up to abuse, never needs batteries, keeps very good time, and will never let you down then this is the one for you. Very highly recommended.

Good value
This is the second of these watches I have owned. Solar charging is great and the wave receptor ensures perfect timing.

Better than expected.
Accurate to the second every day, light weight and slim and fits my 8" wrist. Highly recommended.

Had watch less than 2 weeks but its GREAT!
Got it to replace the Casio Waveceptor I bought more than 16 years ago as it had finally given up the ghost. Had great difficulty finding an exact replacement but finally managed to find one on Amazon. It needed to be sent from the USA but it arrived within about 2 weeks and was exactly as described and at the price advertised. It works well and does everything I want. I have not tested the accuracy of the timer function but have no reason to doubt it. Nor have I tested the water resistance and have no intention of doing so!

at this price point you get a watch which looks attractive and light weigh due to plastic and metal mix body. Accurate timekeeping technology and many more features. Casio does not disappoints and gives rich features at low price point. it does not look or feel cheap and no need to go to watch shop for strap adjustments. it comes with clear instruction how to remove and fix the strap and and simple plastic tool.

I just received shipment of this Casio Men's WVA-M640D-1ACR Wave Ceptor Analog-Digital Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch (11-30-18) and am so pleased with its functionality and looks that I decided to review it for others who may be looking for a quality timepiece which is simple to operate and very, very easy to "set up". I actually took this watch as an exchange for another more expensive "solar" watch with a stem mechanism which turned out to be impossible to easily adjust, and which was not equipped with radio-controlled time keeping. I've worn an old Casio "Lithium Alarm Chrono" for more than 40 years, and although dependable and very durable, I needed something new which doesn't require battery changes. It was definitely the right move. First thing I did was skim the instructions and select my "Home City" for purposes of the atomic timekeeping function. I live in Albuquerque, so Denver was my logical choice. This new watch only has three buttons. My old Casio has four. The fewer buttons there are, the happier I am. Setting the home city -- a required first step -- is a matter of pressing all three buttons in sequence and following very simple instructions. It was pure pleasure to watch the hands quickly reset the factory time to my own Mountain Daylight Savings time immediately after engaging this setup. (The watch came with its solar cell already charged.) I noticed that the reset time was about three minutes faster than what my computer was showing, so I decided to try a manual "receive" of the time signal broadcast from Ft. Collins, CO, rather than wait for the automatic adjustment which would come hours later. I also wanted to be sure this feature would actually work. The User's Guide which comes with the watch is printed in a tiny little booklet in very fine print (a small negative), but the English instructions are simple, direct and grammatically correct. The Guide tells you that signal reception can be tricky depending on where you are doing this, so I simply took the watch outside my house and placed it on the cover of my hot tub in plain view of the Sandias off to the North. You press and hold the third button for two seconds, and the second hand jumps to a small "R" printed near the 43 minute position on the watch face, and the digital time display goes blank. That indicates that reception is either "ready" or "unstable". My location was good, because the second hand almost immediately jumped again to a small "W" printed near the 47-minute position on the watch face and stayed there. That indicated the signal reception was good and the time adjustment was "Working" and could take anywhere from 3 to 16 minutes, according to the manual. It took about 10 minutes at my location, and then the word "GET" appeared in the digital info window at the base of the watch face, telling me the time adjustment was complete. I checked this immediately on my computer and confirmed an exact match with TimeAndDate.com. The stainless steel clasp bracelet is long enough for a man with a wrist much larger than mine, so the last thing I needed to do was remove about five links from the band. The watch comes with a small plastic band adjustment tool and instructions in both English and Japanese. To remove a link or several links, you simply push the peg on the inside of the tool into a hole on the wrist-side of the link and the link quickly pops out of the adjoining clasp. You repeat the process on the preceding link and that frees the targeted link from the band. I thought this was going to be the difficult part of my "setup", but it was ridiculously easy. When the unwanted link is removed, you simply push the clasp on the adjoining link into the slot on the end of the other link and reconnect them. I removed five links and the adjusted band fits my left wrist perfectly. For technical-mechanical challenges, this setup was about as easy as it gets. So now, I'll keep the watch fully charged (I'm thinking of ordering one of those solar watch fast chargers) and check the watch time a week from now against TimeAndDate.com. If this watch lives up to its billing, there should be no loss or gain of any significance. This is just a first impression review, but I'm not expecting any issues at all. If there are any, I will certainly post an update.

Excelente producto. Por sus seis bandas de radio no he tenido problema con la puesta a tiempo. Como todo artículo con esta tecnología, es recomendable ponerlo cerca de la ventana. Muy fáciles de usar sus funciones, pero sobre todo, elegante. Gran inversión.

I'm a big Casio fan, not only for the very reasonable price of their watches but for the great value. This my third Casio Wave Ceptor solar watch. I just cant' seem to help myself when I see another style I like. The other two I bought over the past 4 years are both going strong, and I haven't had a single issue with either of them. I really like the styling of this particular model, so I decided to make it #3. Not only do these watches keep perfect time, with the solar battery you never have to worry about changing batteries. While it may not be successful syncing with the atomic clock every day, it rarely goes more than a few days without connecting, and in that time the watch rarely loses (or gains) any noticeable time. I have also noticed that whatever they are using for the crystal is very resistant to scratches, especially compared with their less expensive watches. I don't think I have a single scratch on either one. I wouldn't be doing justice to this watch without commenting on the ingenious band. The other two that I bought had a band that enabled you to adjust it without removing links, but in my opinion that was a bad idea. It basically just slipped the extra links under the other links, making for a thick band in those areas. I don't know if they are still doing that on some of the other watches. Since I have been buying Casios for many years, I had some old stainless bands that pretty much fit the watches, so I used those instead. But this watch, on the other hand, has the regular removable links that, as many of you know, can be a real pain to remove. Some genius at Casio developed links that have springs inside each one, with a hole in the middle of each link. The watch comes with a simple plastic tool with a pin that fits into that hole. When you press it down it contacts the spring, which retracts the pins on the ends of each link and allows it to be removed. Whoever thought of this deserves a medal (or at least a nice bonus). It took me all of 2 minutes (at most) to remove the extra links. I don't know if other watch manufacturers have figured this method out yet, or whether Casio patented it, but they deserve a lot of credit for eliminating much frustration. So I highly recommend these watches for their style, practicality, and, at least for this particular model, the genius band!

Bonito y funcional, no requiere baterías y la hora se ajusta sola, dolo hay que configurarlo con alguna ciudad del mundo que tenga la misma hora de tu ciudad, aunque la verdad, quedó unos minutos adelantado
