I am a casual trainer, working out about 2–3 times a week, and these adjustable dumbbells have been a fantastic addition to my routine. There are several reasons why this product outshines other options on the market. First, the weights feature a plastic coating over the iron, which makes them much gentler on my carpet and yoga mat when setting them down. The weight adjustment mechanism is incredibly smooth and reliable. I was initially concerned that the width of the dumbbells might be an issue during bicep curls, fearing they might clank together; however, they are compact enough that I can perform curls with both arms simultaneously without any interference. Another major advantage is the weight increments. These dumbbells adjust in 2.5-lb steps from 5 lbs to 25 lbs, which is the 'sweet spot' for most casual lifters. Many competitors use 5-lb increments, but jumping from 20 lbs to 25 lbs in a single step can be quite difficult for exercises like bicep curls. Having that 22.5-lb middle ground makes much more sense for consistent progress. Additionally, I appreciate the high weight ceiling; while I use 20 lbs for curls, these go all the way up to 52.5 lbs, which is perfect for heavier movements like overhead tricep extensions. After four months of use, everything still functions perfectly and the set looks brand new. It is worth noting that I use these in my bedroom and take great care of them—I never slam them, and I am intentional about aligning the plates correctly when returning them to the base. These are excellent adjustable TYZKMY handbells, and they were delivered with care by two people ('cuz they are heavy.) We love these. It is so easy to change the amount of weight you want on them, just turn the handle to the desired weight selection, then lift the dumbbell out of its stand. I actually like these better than a pair of older BowFlex dumbbells that we've had for a while which are also nice, but were a lot more expensive, and requires more steps to change the weight settings on the old ones.) It is easier to change the weight setting on these TYZKMY dumbbells, and they are much less expensive than our old BowFlex ones were that we bought years ago. We wanted some adjustable dumbbells in two different rooms, so that the two of us (my wife and I) could work out with them at the same time. These are very effective for working out. You can use the same exercises you would do with barbells in addition to exercises that are specific to dumbbells, but these take up a lot less space in the room that they are in. The quality seems very good, and we expect these to last us for a very long time. OUTSTANDING PRODUCT--We highly recommend these!

These are very well made and extremely easy to use. Making adjustments is effortless and doesn’t slow down my workout at all. A great addition that allows me to make incremental progress, or slight reductions in weight when I want to focus on higher reps. I’ve wanted to add adjustables to my home gym for a while, only regret is not buying these sooner.

They work as they should, I’ve been using them almost everyday with no issues. I like that I can adjust them in very small increments. Only downside is the labels/stickers seem to pop off on one.. but doesn’t bother me.
