While this French Sea salt is ground much finer than course salt, it may be slightly too course for my shaker. This may be good if you have one of those shakers where the salt pours out too fast. Taking the freshness seal off reveals both openings for spoons or pouring and course shaker holes. The salt is a light oatmeal color and tastes like... salt. It may be slightly brinier than traditional table salt but I can't detect it.

It's saltier than regular table salt, so use sparingly.
