Excellent alternative to an Apple brand case! Fantastic quality!
It is very hard to find a decent, inexpensive, keyboard case these days. In the past my go to brand was INCASE but over the years they ceased making iPhone and iPad cases. ZAGG was my next go-to maker of keyboard cases but from reading reviews it seems their quality has slipped over the years. I recently tried an Otterbox for my new A16 iPad but while it did offer great coverage it was just too bulky for my needs and it had no keyboard case option. Then I found Logitech! I looked through their many different offering of keyboard cases and found one that suited my needs perfectly: Logitech Slim Folio Case. I didn't need a keyboard case with a build in trackpad as I have a Logitech Pebble Mouse 2 M350s which pairs well with this keyboard case. The keyboard case offer full protection on all edges while still offering access to the USB-C port as well as volume and Touch ID button. The iPad connects to the keyboard via the magnetic contacts and holds good. It is a little floppy but not so bad you notice. The case runs off of two CR2032 batteries; so it requires no separate charging. While that might seem like an inconvenience for some I think it's a better option than worrying about charging both my iPad and keyboard case. The keys feel great when typing and the build quality is what you would come to expect from Logitech. Simple and direct and reliable. I love the design and feel it will hold up for the life of my iPad as long as I take good care of it. Nothing is obscured or blocked and the sound quality while is not compromised. The keys are not backlit unfortunately but I do not see that as a problem except if I'm writing in the dark and need to find a function key. However, my last iPad keyboard case wasn't backlit and it managed me fine for over five years. I do recommend this case if you are looking for a quality build keyboard case that costs much less than an Apple brand. I feel this is going keep me happy for a long time and serve me well when I travel.

Like Apple's but costs less.
I bought my new iPad (10th gen) at a Best Buy and had a chance to try the Apple keypad for it. I liked it but didn't care for the $250 price tag. Did some research and found this one. I have other Logitech electronics in my home and have been pleased with their quality and ease of use so I took a flier and bought this without trying it out. I'm very pleased. It has the same functionality and feel and seems to be of equal quality to the Apple version. Though you have to tug a bit, the keyboard is easily removed from the iPad when you don't need or want to use it. When mounted, the keyboard is held in place by a very strong magnet that self-aligns during the "mating" process. Both the keyboard and trackpad function nicely and it looks to provide better protection around the edges in the event of a fall. One word of caution: If you use a screen protector on your iPad, make sure it's precisely mounted (i.e., centered) on your unit. The frame that holds the iPad in place on this is a very precise and snug fit. If the protector encroaches the slightest bit into the frame's territory you're going to have to work a bit to get the protector to fit under it and not lift the protector off. I had to and did it by using the edge of a credit card to pry up the frame slightly.

A product that changed everything for me
I am not one to normally write reviews on anything simply because I couldn’t be bothered to do so. But this combo touch drastically changed the way I do work. As a college student I take a MacBook with me to school everyday but the fear of dropping it or getting it stolen has always left me a bit paranoid about taking it around everywhere. It’s also relatively bulky and takes up a majority of desk space. As a previous power user I never considered using an iPad for anything other than movies and light browsing, but at this point 90% of what I do is done easier and faster on iPad than the Mac equivalents. Listening to music, writing essays, doing research on the web is all done better for me since I got the combo touch. And as mentioned previously about the MacBook size, this thing sits nicely on my desks with enough room to write or do any full page assignments without feeling cluttered. I originally ordered a Magic Keyboard folio refurbished but had them cancel on me, out of spite I ordered this one because of next day delivery—I’m normally not a man who goes outside of the apple ecosystem often, but the build quality on this thing is exceptional, it has a premium fabric feel all around and feels nice and sturdy when carrying around, doesn’t feel like I’m going to cause any damage to the iPad if I drop it or hit it against anything. At half the price of the Magic Keyboard folio, why would you get anything over this? The backlit keyboard is a nice touch that the folio also doesn’t come with. If anything, I was wanting the folio for its simple magnetic 2-piece minimalist design, and while the combo touch does feel bulky at times, it doesn’t bother me as much as I’d thought. TLDR Great for university students; faster than MacBook for 90% of things I do; premium design for the money

Very disappointed with this product. Most of the keys on the keyboard do not match their function. It's an enraging experience to use it…

I have been a Logitech user for ever, since the late 1980's. I don't recall ever having trouble with any of their products (well maybe the CyberMan but I know I was not alone). Got the Slim Folio for my iPad 10th gen and it certainly honours the quality tradition I have come to expect from this company. It's quite sturdy and the keyboard... Oh the keyboard. I used the Apple Keyboard Folio on another iPad a few years ago. While the Apple product was a membrane keyboard, the Slim Folio is actually a real keyboard which is super comfortable to use. Things to keep in mind if you are planning to purchase this product : - It does add a bit of bulk. It's actually thrice as thick as the iPad itself so if you don't like bulky case this one is not for you. However it does product the table from all sides so there's that. - The keyboard is NOT backlighted. - There is no trackpad. I resolved this by pairing a mouse. But you can absolutely use it with no mouse of course. - The keyboard is Bluetooth and it's not rechargeable. It uses two CR2032 coin batteries. Logitech claims they will provide three years worth of power. All in all an excellent product which I will be using for years to come. EDIT : I actually returned the Slim Folio and got the Combo Touch. The fact that the Slim Folio’s keyboard was not backlighted was kind of a hindrance to me. Plus I found it unconfortable to hold the iPad with the keyboard folded back. The Combo Touch solved both of these problems and also I find the iPad very confortable to hold without the detachable keyboard. The case does not add that much bulk. Much happier with the Combo Touch.
