Easy to use for my elderly mum. More sturdy than others previously used.

Although more expensive than others (& do shop around, prices vary considerably) I found it worth the extra. I think the main benefit is that the individual pill compartments are large & slope from front to back so it is very easy to remove a batch of tablets, which cannot be said for those with smaller, cheaper, square sections. Plus, days of the week are marked clearly & come in an assortment of vivid colours (beware those on sale which are all white) all of which help avoid errors. There is one holder for each day of the week & a main container into which they slot. The process of removing them is easy: just push at the top & the day container slips out of the front. At the end of the day, place the empty pod into the back of the master tray & the next day's segment is at the front. Why the detail? Well, instructions do come with it but are rather small & not well set out although they are all there. Study at your leisure. The lid of a day pod slides over to the right quite easily to allow removal of pills. There is also a useful spare compartment on the right (slide top the other way) for those sometimes-needed medications. It is easy to load with your week's supply of pills, having 4 main sections per pod for morning, noon, evening & night. Said to be dishwashable I have not tried that so cannot say if the lettering will remain afterwards. One can but hope.
