Our reusable beetle traps are a natural and organic approach to help keep small hive beetles and their larvae from impacting your backyard beehive. Instead of adding chemicals, our traps work with the bees’ natural tendency to corral beetles. Each trap has a fully removable top to make it easier to add food-grade oil without spilling, as well as to make cleaning the traps of beetles and oil easy. Traps can be easily cleaned out, refilled with oil, and placed back in the hive.Note: Customer service is our top priority, so we are committed to providing the best service. Best beetle trap I've used.
Easy to load and clean. What sets this apart in my opinion is the chamber fits neatly down between the frames without having to spread them apart. You know what happens if you do that. Comb gets built out and you never get them spaced properly again. Much better than beetle blaster or oil trays. Bait with a little pollen patty works great.

Great product!
Quick delivery. American made!Beetle traps work well. User issue filling traps mostly. A little hard to snap lids. Using a squeeze bottle for oil and banana mix. It would help to add recipes for beetle juice.Highly recommend product. It works.Just wish it would solve problem instantly.

Hive Bettle Destroyer
These work great catching hive bettles. Just be careful not to over fill and spill oil into the hive. Also, wipe tops off to remove as much oil as possible so bees don't get covered.

A good beetle trap
I have no dislikes for this product. I just put out the first 8 that I received. The best way to describe what I like is to compare these to the regular oil filled black plastic beetle traps I have been buying for years. These refillable new ones are more sturdy, and are made from a thicker plastic. The description say extra long, but they are about the same length, and very similar in width. The upper flat area looks like it will lay flat on the frames, and is less likely to warp. When the old ones would warp, the beetles can hide under the edges, which is not good. The price is better too, as the old beetle traps get higher in price every time I order them. And most of all I especially like that I can more easily clean these, which makes this item to have an even greater value. I will buy these again, and I highly recommend these.

Only received 10 but great product
Sturdier, deeper and longer than the 'disposable' blaster and the top removes completely for filling and cleaning; diatomaceous earth works great. No damage to package envelope or box or product but this 12 pack was conveniently (sarcasm) missing 2 traps.

Best beetle trap I've found for inserting between frames
I've tried a bunch of different traps, and these are my favorite. These reusable traps fit very well between the frames. Most of the other traps, especially the throw-away traps, do not fit well between the frames without moving the frames apart. Since they don't fit, it causes a slight gap above the frame which provides a place for the beetles to hide. I believe that gap makes it harder for the mites to get on top of the trap and therefore makes it difficult for them to enter the trap. The foxhound reusable traps do not have those problems. They are also easier to clean than some of the designs.I will note that the dimensions seem to be incorrect. The description says they are 10" long, but I measured 9".

They work great - my traps caught over 100 hive beetles!
These work great. - my traps caught over 100 hive beetles! Just have to be careful of not overfilling or spilling the oil when installing or you can get mold in the hive. Highest recommendation. If you are wondering how they work you place them between the combs and the bees will chase the beetles over it causing them to fall into the oil and get stuck. The holes are too small for the bees fall into so only the beetles get trapped. Pull them out once month and replace with new ones as needed.
