I’ve tried to mix together a similar kit but it’s remarkable hard . It’s really challenging/expensive to find each component and you end up with a lot more product than you need . I love how affordable it is and perfectly mixed. The bag is sealed and has lots of quality control approved insignia . I also like how it’s ethically sourced. Directions are clear and easy to follow. I appreciate the specific directions and I already had everything at home to steep the oil. All I needed were some Coconut oil and metal utensils/pan. Overall, I am a huge fan of natural hair care products- especially plant based that has been used for centuries by a culture known for very long hair. The final steeped oil is earthy and I enjoyed it as a hot oil treatment from scalp to hair ends. It left my hair smooth and moisturized after I washed my hair. I found that I didn’t need conditioner . I personally liked the all natural herbal scent but I did add a few drops of tea tree oil and lemongrass oil to a separated batch to use as a leave in conditioner .
