Excellent so far! Product seems as described and repaired my chair. Seems structurally better and definitely taller than my old one, also as described. Note: Cylinder arrived with a plastic cover on the top that was somewhat difficult to remove. Once it was removed it fit as expected and the height adjustment button was exposed to change the height of the cylinder.

Fit my chair correctly, not hard to install, worked , gave me a little extra height, seems solid and strong.

The Huiguli Office Chair Cylinder is better than I expected. I had to replace my home office chair's pneumatic lift cylinder as it would not stay up. The Huiguli replacement I purchased fits perfectly and actually lifts the chair higher than the original cylinder. The Huiguli cylinder was simple to replace, with the hardest part being removing the original cylinder. I recommend the Huiguli replacement cylinder to anyone who needs to replace what they currently have.

I weigh 300lbs and having no issues with it. Installed about a week ago. Seems solid. Much taller than I expected but that was just me not measuring properly and it still goes low enough for me.

This item was an identical cylinder replacement for my gaming chair. Be aware that the difficult part of swapping cylinders is getting the old one out of your chair. It required that I beat the base and the actual seat multiple times to free each end. I would advise potential buyers to attempt the removal process before ordering. In conclusion, I'm very satisfied with this product.

This is perfect for raising my office chair in my craft room so it isn’t too low for my furniture. It brought my chair up 3-4 inches.

I'd never replaced one of these before. Here's a few tips: 1. There are no screws or bolts to deal with. BRUTE FORCE RULES!!! 2. The top part of the old piston, where it attaches to the seat of the chair, is held in place by friction. If you think about how many times your derriere has flopped, full force, into the seat, you can get an idea of how forefully the two have been joined! In order to seperate the two pieces I, and most other folks, use a pipe wrench to grab the steel shaft and twist it. I used a dead blow hammer on the pipe wrench to get it moving. Once I got it going, it loosened pretty quick and came free of the seat. 3. Next was removing the old cylinder bottom from the chair wheel base. AGAIN, BRUTE FORCE RULES! As suggested on Youtube, I inverted the wheel base over a bucket and began to beat on the bottom of the old cylinder with the dead blow hammer. After about 20 strikes I realized I was not making much progress, so a change was mandated. I switched from the dead blow hammer to a standard metal headed hammer. Two whacks and I was done. 4. Installation of the new cylinder was a piece of cake. Remove the protective cap from the cylinder and simply fit it into the seat. (NO BRUTE FORCE!) Put the bottom of the cylinder (which is now attached to the seat) into the wheel base and you're done. Your derriere will provide the final force. One thing I was wondering as I was installing the new cylinder, "When does the piston extend out?". Answer: As soon as you sit down you can adjust it as you have in the past. No worries. Fun bit: At a height of 5'9" and full extension I couldn't put my feet back on the ground. For a moment I felt like I was back in second grade! No problem when I brought it down a bit. So, as both a small learning experience and an easy replacement, I recommend this product.
