I had my gallbladder removed many years ago. Recently, I started having digestion problems and went to many doctors to tried to find out what was causing the pain on my right side at night. The doctors, after lots of testing, came up with nothing... waste of my time and money. I started researching the problem myself. I came across Dr. Berg's video, regarding the problems associated with the removal of the gallbladder. I found that the liver may not be producing enough bile to digest the fats and that you may need to take Tudca/bile salt in order to digest fats. I started taking Dr. Berg's Tudca and Dr. Berg's Gallbladder Formula and I no longer have the pain on my right side unless I happen to forget to take a capsule that day. It's been wonderful not having pain at night.

Very interesting stuff! Started off with one pill, and within one day I noticed some changes. I have no gall bladder and suffer from Hashimoto’s, which gives me bad joint pain sometimes, also very dry skin. On a gross note, I’ve also had digestive issues from both of those things. So a lot of times when I don’t eat clean (gluten and sulfites mess me up, joint pain, dry inflamed skin) I suffer, and my poop is always an orangey brown, acidic smelling and loose, I get cramps and bloating. After two days my poop became much darker brown, more solid in a good way, which is a sign of proper bile production and digestion. I had way less bloating, skin started hydrating, less red, wrinkles in my face started to ease up after 2 weeks, deep wrinkles are less deep. Joint pain is way less, seriously a great side effect, and it is supposed to help with inflammation. Energy levels better too. The only thing I could say is that I think it has messed up my thyroid levels, as I definitely had a sluggish, clogged up liver as I had all the signs, and now it is functioning better, and since a huge portion of thyroid hormone conversion happens in the liver, like 60% supposedly (some people including Dr. berg say more like 80%, but I’m not seeing too many dr’s confirming, but all say 60%), that I probably am now going slightly hyperthyroid, as I’m feeling the effects of over medicating. For me it’s high anxiety, muscle aches, trouble sleeping and breathing, which after week 2 I started getting. I won’t know until I get a blood test, but I know my body well. Now the second thing I want to say is that this supplement is very expensive, for what you get! This is a small dose, started off with 1 pill, then 2 after week 2, then I tried a different brand who’s label looks similar (Totaria) and the dose was double, but I feel it doesn’t work nearly as good as this one did, and the ingredients are the same (Tudca and the same fillers). It’s supposed to be twice as strong but I’m not feeling it working as well as Dr. Bergs, in fact, as gross as it is, my poops are not as solid and not as dark now after starting this brand which means it is not as potent and not working as well, and I will not be buying that brand again, at least for TUDCA, as I used something from them before and it was fine. In short, Dr. Berg’s is very potent and noticeable within days! If you are missing a gallbladder, have sluggish liver, this will help you for sure. If you have no gallbladder you really should be using Ox Bile after meals as well. I havnt used that supplement but will start, as I’ve always had trouble digesting fats after the gallbladder removal and that also means you are not absorbing your fat soluble vitamins correctly (A,D,E,K), which can explain may symptoms I have. I think if you have a gallbladder but are experiencing symptoms of it and your liver being sluggish, I believe this would be a home run! It clears out the liver and dissolves cholesterol stones in the gallbladder, this is documented medically. Also, if you have gallbladder issues and/or have had it removed, get your thyroid checked! There is a lot of correlation between gallbladder and thyroid issues, which makes sense, they are part of the same system. The question is does gallbladder issues signal thyroid issues, or thyroid issues cause gallbladder issues? Either way, there’s alot of evidence that if one is messed up, the other could be too. Make sure they run the liver enzymes test and a full thyroid panel and cholesterol test, this is needed to check if you have thyroid anti bodies and also are getting a fatty liver. DR. Berg’s TUDCA is very legit, just wish it was cheaper, but the good news is I feel it’s more concentrated than it is, one pill is very noticeable, at least in my experience. Good luck to you.

Excellent product. It definitely helped with constipation

Very good product. I am impressed. However, the first time I ordered, I found TWO EMPTY Capsules, I did not bother and thought it was just one of those things, and threw the empty capsules away. But this time on my second order I have found FOUR EMPTY CAPSULES IN THE BOTTLE!!! Do not understand why? Need to know if anybody else has had the same issue. If so that is very disappointing, as the product is not cheap, and 4 days less supply makes this product even more expensive!!!

Tudca, This supplement Tudca and all other products from Dr. Berg, really works, it makes a great difference the way you feel after you take it! It works much better if you compare with some other brands! I can highly recommend it to anyone that has issues with the gut biles and gut health! Marianne G.

I was diagnosed with GERD and try all products for acid reflux. But unfortunately didn’t get too much relief. After every meal a few hours later I feel sick. I try DrBerg TUDCA and my life changed.
