I bought the 2TB version because they were all out of the 1TB version, and this is a fantastic product. It was way smaller than I expected, which is a good thing. It comes in its own small plastic case, as well as an small extension thing if you wish to put it on the back of your phone. It is an extremely secure connection when plugging into anything, its not loose whatsoever. It also comes with a few extra labels. As of functionality, it works extremely well. I was able to record Apple ProRes Log footage directly from my iPhone to the SSD, and there was absolutely no delay. When recording in 4k 25fps, it had around 9 hours of straight recording time. When transferring files from the drive to the computer, it also worked just fine, and with the fast speed they advertised. The design is really nice, with some ridges to grip when you pull it out. Its extremely easy to use, and I recommend watching a tutorial online if you feel unsure. The actual quality of the material is nice, and it comes with a rubber-like material around the whole thing to protect it from damage. Overall you get exactly what you paid for.

I bought this Lexar 1TB Professional Go SSD to use with my iPhone 17 Pro for open gate RAW and 4K ProRes recording after my old SSD oddly was not supported. This one works perfectly. It is very fast, transfers files without any issues, and feels reliable for professional video use. The only small downside for me is that when I use it with the Apple case on my phone, the USB-C connection can come loose more easily. Other than that, I am very happy with this drive.

Having just moved into filmmaking on my iPhone this SSD has been a life - and storage - saver. Convenient, fast, discreet. Can’t believe so much comes in such a small package.

Hands down one of the best mobile HD's in the industry today. Has a very small imprint when using you mobile device. The hub has ports useful for adding usb-c microphones, a charing port. I also love that they include a usb c to usb c angled adapter for ease of use also. Read & Write speed are 1050 mb but I feel like it's faster.

Good piece of gear. Works well and the speed and capacity of the drive is amazing considering the size and form factor. The only small complaint, and the reason I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5 is this… the hub is a little wonky with the PD power port. And what I mean is this, when I have a mic plugged into it along with the drive, it can’t always be depended upon to recognize the microphone. Sometimes, if you plug in the power supply to the PD port, it will help, and recognize the mic… But not always. It’s very spotty where the power supply port and microphone plug-in are involved.

Works great on the iPhone 17 PRO for ProRes RAW. The different mounting options are very nice depending on if you use a gimbal or not and which gimbal. The case and the hub and very convenient, the latter making it easy to charge the phone while still having it connected. Fast. Light. Easy to use. Lexar is very solid and reliable and I recommend it.

Recording 8k 30 fps video directly to the SSD works on my Samsung S23 Ultra and presumably other android phones. You just need either the Samsung camera assistant app (found in the galaxy store, it allows recording straight to the SSD in the stock Samsung camera app) or a third party camera app like MotionCam or Blackmagic Camera if not on a Samsung or if you want more control over quality. It is fast enough to film the highest quality your phone can output. Works with just the SSD and also works with the hub and connector. Able to charge my phone and use the SSD with the hub. It hasn't caused me any issues yet but it does run a little warm even when not recording.

This is a finicky product. Plug it directly into an iphone and all is good for pro res.Plug it in with a port extension (for power) and you’re sol. No pro res. Wish I had returned it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
