Excellent unit! We all have old DVD players with RCA plugs, and new TV’s with no RCA jacks….NO PROBLEM! This small adapter is the easy answer. Plug the DVD player into the RCA jacks on the adapter, connect the HDMI cord to the TV, and connect the power cord to a USB charging plug…..that’s it! Works like a charm. Picture and sound perfect! Now the DVD’s, old video game players, and anything else with seemingly useless RCA connecters can be seen again, all at a practical cost. If anyone gave this a bad review, they hooked it up wrong, because it works great! Five stars!!

Initially, after I hooked this up to our new Samsung 65 in. TV, it appeared to be doing nothing. It turned out that I had the audio and video cables hooked up to the "in" terminals instead of the "out" terminals on the back of our HiFi VHS VCR. Now it works flawlessly. No complaints. Would buy again...

Bought this to connect an old VHS player to a new smart TV via the TVs HDMI port. This works as advertised. I am very pleased. One thing to know, though. It is powered by a USB cable that is included, but no power adapter is included. Glad I had one on hand.

works as intended. using for a old atari system. Comes with usb power cable but no actual power adapter. luckly i have those all over the house which is why i took a star off. I mean seriously. You ship a product i can not use unless I supply the power adapter.

Got this connected between my turntable's pre-amp output convertor so I can put the signal into my soundbar and it sounds amazing!! Use quality cables to prevent interference, and you'll be good to go. I can't imagine paying more for higher end convertors when this is working fine for me.

I have tried 4 different products to use my Nintendo 64 in a modern TV with mixed results from not working at all to poor video out, this one works and I would buy it again

It's great, does exactly what you need it for. Imuse it for my Xbox original, ps2, Wii and Nintendo 64 and Sega. Great piece of kit. Also it's cheaper then most somif it ever brakes your not gonna brake the bank buying another

Compré un convertidor previamente, más económico, y no me convenció, se perdía nitidez en la imágen. Decidí probar con éste convertidor y conserva una buena nitidez en la imagen, lo recomiendo bastante.

I was worried that this thing might not work with my smart TV I only have HDMI inputs and my experience with other cheaper ones wasn’t pleasant so i was worried that it would only show black screen because older devices like ps2 has a low resolution that newer tv’s just not compatible with it but thankfully with this device i got to play my older games 👏🏼
