Q: How does this fit, could you attach to railings?

Hi Marion, Thank you for your message.The board as sold on Amazon is only able to be fitted to the wall however we are able to quote you for the extras of the aluminium backing and channeling to enable you to attach to railings. Condensation will happen with the product due to the rubber seal around the outside not allowing air to circulate into the board. The rubber seal works very well; but to allow air to circulate you can cut small slits in the bottom of the rubber seal to allow air to pass through and circulate. Alternatively you can put in silicon dry packages at the bottom to absorb the moisture. Also if you are able to take the board down to dry out that would help but we appreciate that not everyone can do that. I hope this helps. Regards, Mica Rennison , XL Displays.

Definitly possible, but needs a gap of approximately 1/2 inch for doors to be able to open:-) Best regards,

Q: How much does this weigh?

I don't know the actual weight but it is not heavy and I would imagine you can fix it to most surfaces as long as you use the correct fixings. We have it installed on an outside brick wall and I was able to install it on my own with no difficulty.
