My senior male cat was extremely constipated and had decided to stop using he litter box because of the pain on passing dry stools. I’ve used lactulose prescribed from the vets, which worked like a treat, but they wouldn’t prescribe another bottle without me bringing my cat back to see them. So I decided to take a chance on this little bottle of liquid gold. Honestly it works so well that he goes regularly now, inside the litter box and his stools are large and soft. He has a skip in his step again and eating all his food. What more could a cat owner wish for ?

This does the job! My cat likes it even though I put in her food, she used to have a lot of trouble with her tummy and she couldn’t do a poo but since taking this it’s back to normal, I usually put about 3 to 4 drops in her food.

It sort of worked. Had trouble getting my cat to take it. He didn’t like the taste . But did the trick because after the medication he had a big smelly poo. So no more construction. Happy Cat 😸

To disguise the taste mix with liquivite and administer in a syringe, or mix into Lick e Licks or strong flavoured cat food. This works surprisingly well for my cat who suffered an internal blockage through hair ball. It almost led to surgery, but shifted in the end with treatment. Now I give him this and 4 ml of liquid paraffin (which he licks off the plate) twice a day. I freeze liquivite in small plastic pots and defrost one at a time and store in the fridge. An expensive product but it lasts a long time. Cheaper than vet’s bills.

Unfortunately, this did not work for our cat who kept going to her tray straining but no poo! I had to take her to the vet for constipation treatment after using this product for a week without any change. The vet gave the cat a mini-enema and 7 days laxative treatment ( to be given in her food x3 a day). She pooped before I got her home and has started to poo daily since the vet visit which is a result. The vet bill was only 30 pounds which was surprisingly cheaper than this product!!!

Given 3 stars as didn't shift what it should. That said, it may work better on your pets, just not ours

My cat was having real trouble doing a number 2. Two days of trying I bought this and in 24hrs she was going. Can’t rate this product enough.

My 21 year old maine coon cat tore her acl and ended up not being able to poop for 2 days. She was moving way less and probably not drinking as much water as usual. She was also on pain medications so all of that combined is probably what led to her constipation. I could tell she was uncomfortable just by how she was positioning herself and not eating as much. I gave her 3 small drops of this with her dinner (she is only 6 lbs) and she had a bm that same night! I still continued to give it to her as directed for the next couple days and she continued to have good bms and looked way more comfortable/got her full appetite back. It’s pricey but it works! I’ll continue to use it as needed.

Das Futter wird mit dem Mittel ignoriert, so dass wir es nur mit mehreren Gelatinekapseln und Leberwurst verabreichen konnten. Ohne jede Wirkung ist es einfach zu stressig und für Katz und Mensch und definitiv zu teuer. Für den Preis hätte ich auch eine entsprechende Wirkung erwartet. Wir sind auf anraten des Tierarztes nun auf Movicol (Macrogol) umgestiegen. Es ist deutlich billiger und hilft. die Dosierung für Macrogol bz. Movicol aromafrei wäre zwischen 1/8 Tl. bis 1/4 Tl. in Wasser aufgelöst, ein bis zweimal täglich. Fragt bitte dazu vorher Euren Tierarzt! Ich würde dieses Mittel daher nicht nocheinmal kaufen.

It works. 19 year old Burmese female with end stage CKD and starting to develop constipation due to failing kidneys. No more cat lax just 3-4 drops in food. 😻
