We got the eufy Indoor Security Camera E30 three weeks ago as a last-ditch effort to catch our dog in the act—he kept sneaking onto the kitchen counter whenever our backs were turned. Honestly, this little camera has made a world of difference for us. The biggest win for me is that it’s not subscription based. I really didn’t want to get locked into another monthly fee just for basic home monitoring, so this was a huge relief. The alerts show up on my phone almost instantly when there’s motion, and the two-way audio actually lets us tell our dog to get down right when it happens (confusion guaranteed). The camera also rotates via the app, so even if our dog tries a new angle, we can still catch him in the act. The picture is sharp during the day, and while the night vision could be a bit clearer, it’s still useful enough. Setting it up was straightforward—took less than ten minutes—and the app is simple to navigate. The camera itself feels sturdy and reliable. If you’re looking for outdoor use or want ultra-crisp night images, you might want something else. But if you’re a parent or have mischievous pets, this is a solid, no-fuss solution that won’t nickel-and-dime you each month. Highly recommend for peace of mind!

I’ve been using the eufy E30 camera in my baby’s room, and it has been great. Setup was quick, and the video quality is very clear both day and night, which gives me peace of mind when checking in. The night vision works especially well and lets me see clearly without disturbing my baby. I really like that there is no subscription required and that the local storage works reliably. Motion detection has been accurate, and the app is easy to use for quick live checks and alerts. Overall, it has been a reliable and well made camera that I feel comfortable using as a baby monitor. I would definitely recommend it.

I've been using it for the last several months after switching from a Ring camera due to not wanting to pay for a subscription. I can definitely recommend this camera. I have it mounted up high on a bookshelf overlooking my studio. It can see just about everything. I have audio alerts set to tell me if my dog starts barking or any noise is detected in the home, and it will also detect the presence of someone in the home. It occasionally picks up the cat wandering around, too, so if it can catch a little guy like him, you know it'll catch a person no problem. It was easy to set up, the app is super easy to use, and I've never had any connectivity problems. Video quality is great, and I love that it has tracking features as well. Great value for how much it costs! Just make sure you buy a nice microSD card to use with it and you're all set.

Got it on sale so I’m very happy with getting a quality full feature indoor camera at a good price. Fantastic resolution, easy to use and set up. I’m impressed with the night vision though there is some lag or ghosting. Can use alone and use a micro as card or hook into the home base 3 for storage of video which is what I did. WiFi connection with the E30 is stable with a small amount of lag. The only disappointment is I tried to mount it to the far wall of a room and the tilt won’t allow for being able to tilt enough to be able to look to the end of the room. Perhaps a different mounting bracket would allow an upright mount. I had to wind up placing it in a more obvious spot on my mantle. Overall I am very happy with this camera and feel more secure both when I’m at home and away.

Incredibly easy to set up and use with the Eufy app. Very good build quality and the video is crisp with a wide view angle. The motion sensor is sensitive and the cam does a good job following the movement of people or pets. I love that the storage is local on the device and there is no subscription service. I set it up on the shelf but the mount it comes with makes it easy to mount to the wall or ceiling. Very good value for the nice quality of this security cam.

Excellent camera. Probably one of the most trouble free models that Eufy makes. The image is crystal clear and footage is fluid as long as your wifi is working properly or your connection to the Homebase is good, keep in mind that 15fps is your limit so if you want a camera that runs faster, this isn't for you. Another limitation is that there's no telephoto zoom, it's purely digital. I find it satisfactory. The camera feels solid and durable (I mean, don't drop it or anything...) and the picture is nice and bright. Sound quality is great, again, as long as your wifi permits or if the camera is within a good range of the Homebase 3. You can get color night vision if you want, but it depends on the spotlight and not a special sensor. As of Dec 2025, this camera does connect to the Homebase 3, fully, ie. both for storage as well as BionicMind upgrades (facial recognition, etc). No complaints here. I'm slowly upgrading all my 2K Indoor PTZs with this until something better comes along.

A really good camera and has good features. I like how you can control it's from anywhere and connected to the Google home app. When it spots someone it send you a thumbnail of the person it caught and send you a notification. And I really love how it can track whatever it sees and that was something that was very important to me because I want my camera to be able to follow whatever it's watching. The construction is really durable doesn't feel cheap at all and is well made. And the storage capacity is as high as you want because you can buy your own SD card and insert it right below the camera lens. Anyone who is looking for a good indoor camera with lights that you can choose to turn on when it spots somebody, features like night vision, and want to be able to control it and look at it from anywhere in the world this is a good buy. And you would be happy with your purchase.

And I have gone through so many cameras keeping surveillance of this property. I know the good ones as well as the bad. So, I want to pass it on when one is this good. I was pleasantly surprised w/this Eufy E30 camera. The Eufy app is exceptional--it has so many features (calibration, "round-look", privacy, ai track, etc., etc). More than I can remember ever having or needing. It's not buggy on my network, and with the high 4K res, it is sufficiently covering ~30 feet straight ahead that I need as well as to the sides. I am used to 8K, but I am not complaining with this camera at all, even at night using the infrared. The panorama is excellent. The auto tracking doesn't always follow perfectly, but does grab on as soon as it comes into view. Maybe it's because the persons were really close to the lens. Super easy to load the app on my phone (android). I don't remember seeing how large your SD card can be, so I just use 125G. Works perfectly. I'd like to also mention the mounting--it has options of tape or small screws. Be precise with which direction you want it to span when u attach the 2 screws. Let it rotate w/out the mount, then decide where to place the screws. If you use tape, get it right the 1st time! I have mine hanging upside down. Works so great. I think the ac cord is about 6' which was just enough to reach my outlet. So far I have not lost wifi once (about 30+' from the router), even after many power lossES. Reloaded with no intervention. Had it for over a month.The only negative so far is that it's an indoor cam, I would definitely purchase one of these for use outside. I almost forgot, I have a hybrid Eufy vacuum robot. I LOVE love love my robot! Even after 4 years. One app, two machines...perfect.
