CTEK 40-256 On-board Charger and Display

I have used these chargers before and they are very good, normally I would use the smart sensor to connect to my phone but decided on the LCD screen. Very easy to use but it is supplied with a non insulated shunt that needs to be covered in case anything falls across it. No cover supplied

Beware this is not the later 250SE version but the earlier 250SA which is not compatible with Lithium batteries the description is wrong

After spending £440 on this product it would of been nice to have all of the required cables, leads, crimp connecters included!

Add the smartpass 120s you will never worry about power again, if using high amp ac tools simply run engine use all the power you need the 120s takes over from the d250sa/e then power comes direct from alternater not your batteries, when done the 120s rests and d250sa/e takes back control and your batteries are topped up to boot, 200w solar on top and I've never had to scrimp on power or came close to running flat, in the picture as you will see I am adding cables for extra USB ports and reading spots hence it being a little untidy
