A great addition to any sewing lover
I got this one for my wife, she absolutely loves it. There are a lot of built in features and the overall build is of high quality. Some notable things that immediately jumped out to me was the texture that was used. It's a soft but firm cushion, this allows you to pin whatever you're laying on top into the actual form itself. The stand and base is heavy duty, I believe it's some sort of cast iron or metal. It's got some weight to it, which is good for supporting the form along with knowing it'll be moved easily with the included wheels. It is adjustable, you can set it to go up from what we height you're starting with, it does this via a step pedal. The instructions were a bit confusing, but it's not a hassle to put together. The size is also perfect, we got an 8 and it's pretty close to real world sizes. The entire thing looks great with or without clothings to model. As you can tell from the photos, I decided to use a plastic bag to keep the form clean while not in use. There are many functions that this form can be used for. We've successfully made and alter clothes using the form. Great buy.

Rubbish.
Nightmare to put together and I’m good at that stuff usually. Wobbly when you do. Can’t raise. Pedal doesn’t work. No collapsible shoulder. Box was ripped and head knob bent. Returned.

I love it!
Ok, this is by no means perfect, but I love it anyway. If the measurements are right for you/your body/your needs (or you can pad it out to make it so), I definitely recommend this dress form. I haven't started sewing/draping with it yet, but it does seem like pinning will be fine. No, it's not a professional sewing dress form--but those cost $300 to $1500 dollars. For the price, this is a delightful alternative for those of us just starting out and/or not wanting to drop that kind of money yet. The body is solid. The base is not the MOST sturdy (or steady/level), but I plan to treat it delicately and that should work out fine. It was somewhat easy to assemble but you have to IGNORE the directions they send. Seriously, mine were wrong. Once I determined I should trust myself and not the piece of paper, I slid the three legs into the tri-slotted base, added the top circle over that and screwed in the longer wooden base. Then you add the metal pole into that. Then loosen the screw fastener on the body's inner tube and insert the metal pole as you put the body on top and then tighten the screw. I'm sorry if that's not clear, but it may be if you read it with the pieces in front of you. Seriously, ignore that piece of paper and follow your instincts. It does have a chemical smell fresh out of the box, but it seems to dissipate (for better or worse) after airing out. This smell did not deter me from hugging my new dress-form friend upon assembly completion. (Quarantimes has us discovering all sorts of things about ourselves, doesn't it...?) All in all, I am happy with my purchase and can't wait to work with this!

HORRIBLE INSTRUCTIONS AND FOOT PEDAL
Hardest dress form to put together it took me over 30 mins trying to figure out the foot pedal only to find out it really doesn’t work at all. Instructions are horrible to follow but the dress form itself is amazing.

Great!
This mannequin was a total pain in the hind end to put together but after I figured out the not very great instructions, I was happy. She is pretty sturdy, pins stay in nicely and she works well for draping. It does not have collapsible shoulders, if that's what you need, but I didn't require it. I like the wheels on the bottom for easy movement and I like the ability to adjust height for the correct dress lengths. This was a good addition to level up my sewing projects.

Good Enough
Im a professional dressmaker, this is my 4th full length dress form (I have a children's and 1/2 form) and I was looking for something in expensive & in a smaller size. As compared to my other dress forms it’s not terrible, I did notice that the nails started to poke out when I was trying to assemble the stand. The assembly as stated by previous customers is terrible. Keeping in mind dress form stands are pretty tricky to assemble even on the best made forms. But this was a different level of heck. It’s simply a poorly made stand, that you’ll need to figure out on your own, the instructions are useless and the video is only slightly helpful. In comparison the size 8 dress form I bought several years ago cost the same as this one and it came with arms and the quality is much better.

Stand is impossible to put together with the included instructions
I had to return it because the stand is impossible to put together with the provided instruction manual. Something is off because they give you four screws but there are not four screw holes. There's only really one place to put a screw. The stars are for the actual mannequin which seems nice.

This is a great 5 star product! But only if you can figure out how to assemble it! Correct assembly would be easy if seller made the effort to provide better instructions. But they haven’t. So it’s VERY painful to put together. But don’t fear, I have the key to putting it together here: The instructions are near useless. Watch the product video in the listing but understand that it only helps a little! Why? Because the parts may not be in the correct alignment when you get it. Especially if it’s been returned and resold to you. It’s critical that the locking tube mechanism is extended before assembly. If yours arrives with the locking tube (part that has a spring and nut inside) compressed, you must extend it first. And no, that’s not easy! But it’s not impossible. You need to compress the large loose grey ‘bolt’ looking unlock trigger. It’s very hard to press in by hand, but if you use a block of wood or other hard object (I used the enclosed steel pedal) you can press it in and that allows you to stretch the tube back to the mostly extended position. In practice this is fairly simple. Reading it makes it seem harder than it is. Once you’ve done that, you can follow along the above video to get the rest. The larger outer spring is there to cushion the shock should the whole thing fall too fast. It’s loose at the bottom on purpose. The lower black knob must be tightened firm for the foot pedal to work. The pedal releases the lock allowing unit to be easily moved up or down. The upper black knob should be loose while moving unit up/down. Then locked (if you want) when you’re working with it. I would post photos to explain - but it’s together and working great so too late lol. The small set screws are fragile. Don’t over tighten. And the red lines on tubes must line up or screw won’t thread.
