6 decades of taming a naturally curly head of hair. I’m really loving this product by Dove. A dime size worked into damp hair, air dry, brings out the curls, defines. Then if I use my curling brush the next day, it’s smooth and holds style well. It’s not crunchy and I really love that!

Worked well at moisturizing and defining My curls without weighing them down. I love the fragrance in this, it makes my hair smell amazing and it lasts all day but the fragrance is a bit strong in this so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to that kind of stuff.

I did not have high expectations for this product because I am now starting to wear my hair natural after 30yrs of keeping it straight. This meant it would’ve taken some curl training to achieve the desired outcome. Using this product gave me curls I never thought I had. The texture is very light weight and does not weigh down my hair. No greasiness and a wonderful scent. I’ve already purchased another tube even though my first hasn’t been depleted yet.

This is my favorite curl cream, it holds my curls well without making my hair feel crunchy or weighed down. I live in Mississippi where it is super humid, this cream does not prevent frizzy hair for more than a day, but I do love the hold it provides. It is receiving 4 starts because of the lack of frizz control and the price (which is pretty expensive for Dove)

Wonderful product! I have shorter type 3B/3C curls and this cream gives good hold and definition while also keeping my curls hydrated! My hair feels soft to the touch. The cream also plays friendly when I use it with gels for more definition but works great on its own as well! Highly recommend

Since my favorite curl cream was discontinued about 4 years ago, I've been searching for a replacement (without any success). And I have finally found my new favorite! This cream gives great definition, controls frizz, and enhances curls all without any crunch or nasty film left on hair. It keeps hair soft and healthy and can even be used when your hair is dry. I rake this cream through my damp hair after a shower and then turn my head upside down and give it a scrunch to the root. Then leave it up in a towel on top of my head for a few minutes and my curls come out awesome. I'm prone to frizz but this cream takes care of that and it keeps hair looking good until the next wash day. I couldn't ask for anything better. For reference I have thick type 3 Caucasian hair that's half coarse and half medium texture.

Actually really like this stuff. It's not thick, which I thought I would need for my coarse, dry, wavy hair. However, it has made my hair much softer since I began using it. It has protein which I didn't know my hair needed. Smells good, not overpowering and the scent does not linger, thankfully. I definitely recommend it for wavies. You will also need another product for hold, like a gel if you have type 2C hair but as a first product after conditioning, it is my thing.
