I absolutely love these Face Halo makeup remover pads! They’re super easy to use — just wet with water and gently wipe away makeup, even foundation, bronzer and everyday products without needing extra cleanser. The microfibers really do a great job at lifting makeup and dirt from the skin without tugging or irritating. One of the biggest reasons I bought this set was because they’re eco-friendly and reusable — each pad can replace hundreds of single-use wipes and cut down on waste, which is something I really care about. They’re also vegan-friendly and cruelty-free, which I love. They’re soft on all skin types, including sensitive skin, and make makeup removal feel kind of luxurious compared to disposable wipes. A few reviewers do note that stubborn waterproof mascara or heavy eye makeup might need a bit more effort or a follow-up cleanser, but for everyday makeup this is perfect. The only small downside is that the white pads can stain with dark makeup over time, but that’s expected and doesn’t affect performance.

Such a game changer. Never believed in the whole ‘remove with just water’ thing but wanted to try it so finally went for it. It actually works! So easy and soft on the skin, it makes me wash my face so much more often. They do stain quite easily if you don’t wash right away - I try to wash by hand with a little bit of natural soap or shampoo after using and it generally comes up as new. Bought them because you could machine wash but actually found you really don’t need to. Good quality material - I can see how some with sensitive skin may have issues as the way the material is designed to remove make up with only water means it is not quite as soft as your average towel but really not by much so great for most people I’d say. Bought as a gift but so great I bought a second set for myself. They are expensive and I’d recommend really trying to get them while on offer but to be honest still worth the £17/18 as they will save SO much money on disposable wipes. Ideal for travelling too and keeping in your purse for on the go. Overall would definitely recommend to all I know!

I bought this to see if I could skip using my cleanser and i wanted to deep clean my pores as I’m prone to breakouts.. this totally fit the bill. It isn’t as easy to use as videos show of course! Does it remove waterproof and resistant makeup with just water? Yes! Just hold it damp over any spot-for me it’s my eyes, for about 30 secs each side and gently wipe off. Might have to repeat once or twice. For someone who doesn’t wear thick makeup like me(only wearing natural mineral makeup done in 5 mins), it still took both sides of one pad twice. Meaning I’ve washed it twice as well. I love that it’s white and you can tell if you’ve got any residue left. I’m not sure it takes less time than my tropic cream cleanser... I got this mainly to cut down time in removing makeup when I’m tired and lazy after a dance event... I would use and monitor for improved skin while skipping my cleanser(still using toner and moisturizer after)... Just bear in mind that it does take a while to wash the makeup off your pads each time. I should time myself lol! All in all I would recommend as it does remove makeup without cleanser as advertised, took a star off for how long it took me to remove the makeup from the pad(maybe a plus as it means it does lock it in and it doesn’t go back onto your face?), and for the fact that it means less product going into the environment.

These are great for removing make-up and leaving your face really clean. They can be washed in the washing machine and re-used which makes them good for the environment as well

Suffer with eczema and dry skin which I don't like using harsh chemicals on. Bought these as thought it would be good to use just water instead of micellar water or wipes. They're perfect. Convenient, easy to clean, don't look dirty. I use very thin make up, so don't know what they're like for people who wear a lot. However, for me, they remove all traces of make up while being very kind to skin. Come in really nice packaging, and very environmentally friendly. They seem expensive at first, but not when you think about how much you spend on wipes/ cotton pads/ make up remover.
