Having owned various other makes and types of welding magnets this has to be the strongest yet although maybe not as strong as advertised like them all, it still does everything I need it to without fail and I will eventually get some more as they are very handy when working on structural steelwork.

A very powerful magnet, that can be switched on and off. Don't put it near your face if you have metal fillings ;0)

Product is fine but they failed to send an invoice, they'll only provide a receipt which is not ideal when ordering from a business.

A must for all fabricators like having an extra pair of hands can't be without one of these

Ayant déjà utilisé un aimant MAGSWITCH dans le passé, je viens d'en recommander 2 autres MAGSWITCH MagSquare 600 . De bonne facture, il est doté d'un interrupteur On/Off bien pratique pour son positionnement. Très pratique, c'est à lui seul, une troisième main pour tenir en place les ferrailles de type UPN avant de les souder au MIG. Très satisfait, je recommanderai vivement ce matériel puissant et de qualité qui dispose d' une capacité de 268 kgs.

Not sure what it is about magnets, but I sure like them. I'm sure it has something to do with their ability to simplify problem solving. These switchable magnets are some of my favorites. Not only do they work really well for squaring up materials, but they perfect for jig making. I have several woodworking and metalworking jigs that require the use of thee magnets, and with their threaded holes, there are many more things I'm able to do with them. as far as hold strength, I'm not quite sure they have as much holding power as they tout, but they have plenty of holding power to keep my jigs stationary.
