Purple Power 4115PS Aluminum Brightener- 32 Ounce

I’ve used other aluminum cleaners in the past that usually clean off the buildup but dull the shine, not this stuff though. My wheels need polished so I figured I’d start with this stuff and it cleared most of the buildup and also actually shined up the wheels a little. They still need polished but this stuff made a big difference, I’m impressed. I don’t think I’d chance using it on a clean already polished wheel but it’s a good start on aluminum that’s dull and needs cleaned. I’m gonna try it on a Pro-Tech tool box next and maybe update this review with before and after pics.

This cleaner works really well. I had just bought another classic car and had the original mags on it. The car is over 55 years old and with a little elbow, grease steel wool and this solution brought up the mags.

Wow — I’ve tried just about every rim cleaner out there for my 2006 Chevy Silverado: sprays, scrubs, foams — you name it. Nothing has come close to the results I got with Purple Power 4115PS Aluminum Brightener. This product is on a whole different level. I was a bit skeptical at first, but after just one application, I was genuinely amazed. My rims went from dull and caked in grime to looking nearly brand new. It effortlessly cut through years of brake dust and buildup. I used a detailing brush to lightly agitate the surface, then rinsed with water — and the results were outstanding. It felt like my truck got a full makeover. I only wish I had discovered this product sooner. If you're looking for professional-level cleaning without the high price tag, this is the one. Easily the best rim cleaner I've ever used.

Absolutely brilliant. Did an above and beyond phenomenal job on my truck's aftermarket aluminum rims. I am exceptionally happy. I was thinking about sending the rims out to be refinished because they were getting so pitted(slightly), stained and just all around nasty. This stuff worked within seconds and took 3 years worth of nasty winter salt stains and even specs of tar and stain bubbles of rust inhibitor that spilled on to one rim. Highly recommend and just ordered a second one to have on hand.

Sorry to say, but it would not remove white crusty deposits on aluminum at all! Almost made it worse. Perhaps it is too weak.

I have aluminum range hood grease filters (4 total for 2 hoods in my kitchen) the kind you wash and do not replace because the hood vents to the outside and I stupidly listened to the manual which said they could be washed in the dishwasher---do not do it!!! They came out all discolored and horrible. I spent over two hours trying to find replacements until I found out that there are NONE to be found because my Broan hoods had been discontinued (even though they are not that old). So I continued researching for solutions and came across this. The spray pumper bottle is not the best but this stuff is like a miracle!!! Use disposable gloves, spray this on and rinse. A minute later it looks like new. If it didn't get a spot just repeat on that spot. It also did not damage the plastic little handle on the filter (you could tape over it to be extra careful before spraying). All I can say is thank you because I have a relatively new kitchen and the filters looked terrible and I was afraid I would be stuck with them forever since there are no replacements whatsoever!! I attached a photo of one of the discolored filters and one that I just cleaned with this stuff side by side so you can see the difference achieved in just a few minutes.
