Genuine Review: Overall, the product packaging and delivery speed were excellent. I am based in Chennai, and the monitor was delivered within one day of placing the order. As a Prime customer, this was a very satisfying experience. I was eager to install the monitor and connect it to my laptop to start my coding work. The installation process was straightforward, and I was able to set it up myself without any difficulty. I already had the required adapter to connect the monitor to my laptop, which made the setup even easier. The connection was successful, and I was able to extend Screen 1 and Screen 2 seamlessly using Windows display settings. However, I later faced an unexpected issue. I use an HP ZBook Firefly 14-inch laptop with a native resolution of 1920 × 1200. The Acer Nitro ED270 Z 27-inch monitor that I purchased supports a maximum resolution of 1920 × 1080. Due to this resolution mismatch, I was unable to align both displays at the same resolution. Despite trying multiple configurations during both daytime and nighttime, it was not possible to resolve this limitation. As a result, the external monitor’s display quality was poor. The text appeared blurred, and prolonged reading was uncomfortable, which was highly disappointing—especially for coding and professional work. Although a replacement was offered, the product was not eligible for return. I proceeded with the replacement request, as I suspected there might also be a display issue beyond the resolution limitation. Ideally, regardless of resolution differences, the monitor should display content clearly when appropriate graphics drivers are installed. Amazon customer support advised me to contact Acer customer care. Acer then requested that I record a video of the monitor screen and share it via their WhatsApp support channel along with the serial number. This entire process was inconvenient and resulted in a very poor customer support experience. Conclusion: If your laptop’s native resolution does not match the monitor’s supported resolution, I strongly recommend avoiding this model. Please verify resolution compatibility carefully before purchasing.
