Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’m not the most safety conscious guy you’ll ever meet, after all, I was raised when it was ok to ride in an open bed pickup and drink from the garden hose. So after years of taking chances, I decided to play it safe and at least protect my arms when I’m welding and since I usually wear heavy gloves, decided I needed something heavy duty for my arms. These are exactly what I was looking for. They are made of heavy duty genuine leather and even though I have large muscular arms, they still fit very good. I highly recommend using these when you’re doing anything that might injure your arms, not just welding.

It would do for the home project welder. Fit is a little on the small side for me. It would be a very tight fit for guys with big arms. The leather is thick enough to do the job but it is not professional grade. Recommend it for home use only.

Use when trimming thorny trees. Work good for that, along with welding gloves.

Much heavier than expected, almost too heavy but would rather have them that way than lighter.
