My 7 month old kitten, Chip, has never allowed me to brush his teeth. He just hates every other cat toothbrush I've ever tried, until this one. Most other cat toothbrushes are all just too bulky and he hates it. This toothbrush head is so small though that I can easily get right in his mouth and get his teeth clean, even in the very back. He really didn't struggle at all! I'm amazed! The angled neck helps as well. I have another 2 year old boy Wally who has always been very tolerant of brushing teeth, but this toothbrush made it so much easier I'll be getting another one for him too. Seriously if your cat struggles against having its teeth brushed, this will help SO MUCH!

This is the best toothbrush for cats. It's the perfect shape and size. I hope it gets restocked soon. We desperately need to put in another order!!

This is much easier than other pet toothbrushes because the head is small enough to fit in my card’s mouth much better. The only problem is it’s so small it takes a lot of work to get all of the teeth brushed.

I tried so many brands and types for my senior cat with major dental issues. My cat has a flat face and tiny mouth with tiny teeth and sensitive gums and this is the only toothbrush that works terrific which he’ll let me use on him. The tinier head allows me to get into his mouth more easily and gently. Very sturdy but like humans, I would replace the brush every 3 months if using everyday. Please bring it back in stock!!!! I went to go buy a second one since I’ve had the first one for 4 months now brushing 3-4x a week and I’m so upset that it’s not available for purchase. If your cat has sizable teeth and larger mouth, this brush is NOT for you. This is great for cat breeds with dainty mouths and small kittens.

I bought this and was very skeptical about it working for my 10 week old 1.5lb teacup chihuahua. I wanted to start brushing her teeth as soon as her milk teeth came in.. she absolutely loves this toothbrush. From the very first time she let me brush her teeth and gums and seemed to enjoy it. The size of the head is perfect for her tiny mouth. It doesn't gag her and is very easy to use. I will be buying several more to put up as this one wears out.

This toothbrush is SO much easier to use than the last one I had gotten for my cat. Her old one was more of a mini human toothbrush, same shape just super small. It was still too big for her tiny mouth and teeth- I couldn’t see each tooth as I was brushing it and I had to pull her gums back pretty far just to get in there with the brush. This brush is a perfect size- when it arrived it seemed TINY but cat teeth are tiny too! The shape is so much better since I can actually see the tooth and gums as I’m brushing them, and I don’t have to pull back her gums as far to get in there with the brush. 10/10

My cats are like most cats and do not like their mouths being messed with. So, this was hard to use due to the long handle. I was able to use on my large dog due to the long brush handle.

I love this brush. Although my Ragdoll still work let me brush her teeth, I finally found a cat toothpaste that she “loves”. She will lick the container, then lick the brush. I’m getting her use to having the brush rub the sides of her mouth, and she will sort of chew on it with her front teeth. She’s 7, so I think it will take awhile, but excited that she loves the new toothpaste and will at least let me rub her outside with the brush. Tiny steps, but much better than my last Ragdoll, that would not accept the toothpaste or the brush. My current on hated the toothpaste until I found a poultry flavored one. We’re getting another one this summer, so I’ll start him out on the brush and toothpaste right away. (I had a Manx that would let me brush his teeth with the regular cat toothpaste and the larger brush that came with it.). I guess the real important thing is to find the toothpaste that they will allow, and this brush is so much easier on their mouth.

My favourite toothbrush for kitties with small mouths and teefies. Used them on my kitties for years and they are very long lasting and of an excellent quality.

Ich habe schon alle möglichen Zahnbürsten für meine Katzen ausprobiert. Babyzahnbürsten sind zu groß, daher habe ich diese Bürste bestellt. Der Bürstenkopf ist rund und deutlich kleiner als bei den Babybürsten, er hat auch weniger und kürzere Borsten. So komme ich auch an die Backenzähne und kann teilweise sogar die Zahnzwischenräume putzen. Die Borsten sind härter als bei Babybürsten, da muss man ein bisschen aufpassen wie stark man Druck ausübt. Aber dafür kann ich durch den kleinen Bürstenkopf auch gezielter putzen und das Zahnfleisch weitestgehend aussparen. Eine meiner Katzen hat sehr empfindliches Zahnfleisch, da passe ich besonders gut auf und bürste nur ganz leicht. Die Bürste sieht auch ganz süß aus und der Stiel ist lang und fein genug, sodass sie gut in der Hand liegt. Vllt ist es für jemanden hilfreich, wenn ich unsere Zahnputz-Routine aufschreibe: Was ich sehr gut finde ist die Kombi aus dieser Zahnbürste und einer Fingerzahnbürste. Ich kaufe dafür die Baby-Fingerlinge aus Baumwolle aus der Drogerie. Mit dem feuchten Fingerling putze ich nach dem Bürsten mit der Bürste die Eckzähne und empfindlichere Stellen. Nach dem Benutzen sammele ich die Fingerlinge und koche sie ab. Um das Putzen interessant zu machen, habe ich am Anfang so eine spezielle Katzen-Zahnpasta mit Hühnchen-Geschmack vom Tierarzt auf die Bürste gegeben, was aber nur dazu geführt hat, dass die Katzen die ganze Zeit in die Bürste beißen wollten, um diese Paste zu futtern. Nur mit ein bisschen Wasser klappt es bei uns am besten. Wenn das Zahnfleisch häufig gerötet ist oder schmerzhaft, sollte man das vllt. mal beim TA abchecken lassen. Wir haben dort ein Chlorhexidin-Gel bekommen, das ich selten, sehr sparsam und lokalisiert verwende, wenn ich beim Putzen leichtes Zahnfleischbluten o.ä. bemerke. Letztendlich ist es individuell, aber vllt kann meine Beschreibung ja jemandem als Anregung dienen.

Yes, this is definitely more expensive then actually buying a baby toothbrush but knowing Japanese quality products I was more than happy to pay the price. Anything made from Japan is always high quality the brush is small and it's suppose to be like that, I have a cat who has a moderate level of gingivitis and also consistent tartar build up which causes my little guy to always get yearly cleaning. I was researching cat-specific toothbrushes and saw this one, this is PERFECT for his mouth, if you cat has sensitive gums due to prolong gingivitis, please get it checked with your vet. This toothbrush is great for getting into the gums, as the toothpaste NEEDS to hit the gumline in order to greatly reduce inflammation in the gums and also get rid of tartar. Cat teeth are much more prone to getting tartar hardening withing 24 hours, so this toothbrush is so good to get in the areas that are just too difficult for those stupid "cat and dog toothbrush" combo.
