Was shocked at how much difference it makes.
Have now used the chair for a few weeks now, and thought it's about time I finally reviewed something ! I have had a problem with feeling nauseous while using VR and can safely say the chair helps tremendously with that. Actually turning to see something makes all the difference. The box it comes in is enormous as is the weight ( Ask the delivery driver! ) , but that's a good thing as it doesn't feel flimsy in any way. My only complaint with the packaging is the plastic handles seem to fall out easily. After getting a friend in to help with construction it was pleasing how easy it was. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The lack of cables is refreshing as someone else says and the finished chair is pleasing to the eye. I was worried that the noise it makes might disturb the people below me but they haven't said anything so it can't be very noisy, bit hard to tell whilst playing a game. Is it expensive, yes ! But considering what people spend on graphics card ands what you get for your money here it doesn't seem it once you use it. So I am one happy bunny !

It’s incredible
Got this for Christmas as an expensive present from my wife and it’s fantastic. A game changer I then upgraded to the pro version and oh my God it’s incredible if I had my time over I would have just gone all in and got the pro version in the first place you will not be disappointed whatever one you get but if you can go for the pro version

Game changer
I've been using the RotoVR gaming chair for a few days now, and it’s completely transformed my virtual reality setup. The motorized rotating base is incredibly smooth and responsive, syncing perfectly with my head movements in VR. It adds a level of immersion I didn’t even realize I was missing — turning physically in your chair while your view turns in-game makes everything feel more natural and connected. Setup was straightforward, and the build quality is solid and premium. The chair itself is comfortable enough for long sessions, with a sturdy, ergonomic design that feels built to last. I also love that it integrates well with both PC VR and standalone headsets, and the additional accessories like the footrest and haptic feedback modules take the experience even further. If you're serious about VR and want to eliminate cable tangles and improve immersion, the RotoVR chair is expensive but worth every penny. It’s not a gimmick — it’s a proper piece of kit that elevates your entire VR experience. Highly recommended!

Fast and reactive
Dropping a star for how long it took to setup. Instructions are clear until the end. Works brilliantly with the VR and moves when you move, no delay or lag. Because it’s so reactive it did make my youngest feel sick so maybe not worthwhile for someone who suffers from travel sickness etc

This is truly a spectacular must have chair
Right! After reading a lot of negative reviews. I was very nervous to spend out such a lot of my money.but I did pay out for this.it states on here delivery is like 2 days.(it’s not) as it comes from rotovr directly.but by me ringing rotovr customer support. They sent it by the next day. And true to there word.it arrived the very next day.well packaged.set it up and did have a couple of issues setting it up with rotovr customer support.i now have a fully functioning amazing vr gaming chair.as for those saying that rotovr are not good with customer support. I can honestly say. What a load of rubbish.please note:there is 1 very good customer service person who runs for the uk.he works extremely hard taking note of any issues or deliveries. And always gets back to you.the chair is very comfortable.the head tracking is amazing.i bought this as my vision is very poor.and i feel safe now. Rather than falling over and hurting myself.if your wanting to buy this.your in safe expert hands.it really is an amazing bit of kit.my mother who is 82yrs old has even had a go on it.oh and yes,I couldn’t play racing games as felt sick with motion.now due to the fact you turn with the chair.there is definitely no motion sickness.this is a honest review.and I highly recommend this chair.

Contsantly failing to deliver results
Company that keeps promising that things will work and then fails to deliver over and over again

It's a heavy piece of kit.
The chair comes ready to be built with very easy, clear and concise instructions, not even my Mrs could get it wrong. On first set up it was very easy to use, and again, easy to follow instructions. It takes a bit of getting used to, because previous to this, I used a swivel bar stool, now this does it all for me with a turn of the head. I've found that positioning of the head tracker is more important than first expected, as I would turn fast one way and slow the other. But its just a case of altering the position and away you go. The only down side for me is the seat pad, it looks more comfier than it is, so I got a bit of a numb bum, but at least it will encourage me to take a break. The rumble box under the seat is a lot stronger than I imagined and it can be felt quite a lot. There is a port for continuous charging of your headset, but I've yet to use that. All in all, a great toy, but priced out of the reach of a lot of people at £799.00, but I'm definitely going to give this some hammer and enjoy it totally.

I don’t know why there is such a low star rating for this gaming chair. It is one of the BEST investments that I have made using the Meta Quest 3. I had a problem with the first chair and reached out to ROTO and they made things right. (This is a very reliable company!) The chair keeps me from rolling all over the room and also keeps me from hitting the walls! I used to fall when playing and hit walls and lamps, tv and other things until I got this chair. I am so very pleased to say that this chair is so much more than a gaming chair. The head tracker will turn the chair which ever way that you look. Making this a game changer in the game. The ability to play more efficiently and if you want to, you can use the rumble pack. It’s such an awesome gaming chair! I have been using it DAILY since I got it. I play 6-10 hrs every day. And I LOVE this chair! I can’t imagine NOT having this chair. It’s easy to use, and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Maybe the size of an Executive Office chair. It’s durable and has only needed to be tightened after using it continuously on a daily basis maybe every few months. It’s is comparable in price with a well made gaming chair. It’s comfortable and well worth this price! It also keeps you charged and ready to game for as long as you want! I have been using this chair for over a year now. And I love the convenience and the less space needed for gaming. There are plenty of options to add to the chair if you want. But if you play all of your games standing up, this will not be for you. But if I want to stand to play, I use the 16 ft. Charging cable that is offered by Meta, attached to the chair. As with Walkabout Mini Golf. You need a very good charging cord which can be purchased at your local phone accessories store. I would recommend having an extra head tracker on hand if possible. I dropped mine and had to order another one. Really, I ordered 2. 😂 Buy this chair! It’s a FANTASTIC chair!

This Roto VR motion gaming chair has been nothing but an expensive headache. My husband and I purchased two chairs, hoping to add immersion and excitement to our gaming experience. Instead, we’ve dealt with constant technical failures, wasted hours, and no meaningful resolution. Both chairs have issues. One chair’s head tracker will not stay connected and frequently disconnects and overheats, making it unusable. The other chair does nothing but hum, regardless of how the safety shield is positioned—as if it is not set up correctly. To be clear: we followed the setup instructions exactly. We sent photos to tech support, and they confirmed the safety shield was installed properly. Despite that confirmation, the chair still does not function. We spent countless hours troubleshooting, reinstalling software, reconnecting hardware, and following every step provided by support—with no success. We contacted customer support and worked with Matt, who initially gave us confidence that the issues would be resolved and discussed possible swaps. After that, communication stalled. Seven days passed with no updates, and follow-up calls went unanswered. My husband has called they don’t return calls either. When we finally requested to return these unusable chairs, we were told we are responsible for return shipping. To put that into perspective: • One carrier quoted six hundred to return the chairs • Another quoted nearly double that amount So we’re expected to pay hundreds of dollars to return products that do not work and were confirmed to be set up correctly. This is unacceptable—especially for a product marketed as premium and priced accordingly. This company sells a high-end idea but delivers unreliable hardware, poor communication, and policies that leave customers stuck with extremely expensive, nonfunctional equipment. Do yourself a favor: do not buy this chair or anything at all . You may end up paying almost as much to return it as you paid to buy it. We regret this purchase entirely.

I'm a 69yr. old retired Steel Handler/Cutter who's also a Geek. My online screen name is SteelGeek55. I've been playing on & offline console games for almost 30yrs. In 2021 I got the Meta Quest2 and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It brings the movie Ready Player One to life in one's own personal space. My friend Mike from New Jersey has the PS VR & we can cross-play certain games like Creed2 and others. The problem I started having was after my Wife, of 43yrs, passed away in March 2024 I had to move to an Active Senior Apartment. It's a great place & I'm in a 2 bedroom Apt. on the 4th floor but I don't have the room I had when my Wife and I lived in a Townhouse Apt. That's where the the decision to buy the RotoVR Chair came into reality. Plus even some of the seated games like Combat Roller Coaster didn't have the freedom I liked because of armrest, tables, or even the fact that having a regular chair that could fall back if I got too excited and that was challenging. I researched the chair and even called customer service in England, where the company is located, because the game was still in preorder status and I needed some questions answered. To my surprise, that day, the CEO of the company was manning the phones wanting to know people's reaction to this VR Chair. I found out that it was being released in Oct.2024. The price seemed a little steep, but I've always been a homebody. Even during the pandemic, my Wife and I didn't have a problem staying at home. In a way, she also became a gamer, because we started playing her favorite board games on the PS console after we would watch, Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy every evening but I digress. She even tried Epic Roller Coaster once on VR but the motion sickness got to her. That brings me back to the RotoVR Chair because she could have used this chair, it would have helped her motion sickness. Plus if I had a family, I would definitely have this VR Chair because of the VR Fails I've seen on YouTube. Damaging a TV, furniture, a wall or even worse getting injured from a fall or hitting someone else. It's funny to watch these fails online, but it's not funny when it happens in your home and you have to pay for it. This chair rotates 360 degrees in both directions, depending on how you move your head. There's a sensor you place on the top of your headset. It monitors your head movement, and you can also adjust how quick or how slow that movement is. Now, when I hear a Zombie coming up behind me, I can quickly just turn around and take em out. Don't get me wrong I still have my games like Beat Saber and some exercise games so I do still stand and get a good workout and I enjoy them but the Roto VR Chair is a game changer. It also has rollers, so you can easily move it from one room to another, but the rollers lock so when you're playing the games, all you're doing is rotating, you don't have to worry about the chair moving back and forth on you. It also has a rumble feature but for me, I turned it off. You have that option. In conclusion, I can honestly say I did not get paid for this review, but I believe that when someone sells me a good product, and especially when they give me good customer service I'm going to be the first one to acknowledge it. And lastly I want to discuss the cost. Yes this chair cost me $800 but for me, personally, this is how I justify it. I don't smoke drink or do drugs. I have a friend that smokes 2 packs of cigarettes a day. That's $16 a day. That $480 a month every month. That's $5840 a year.(BTW... I stopped smoking in 2002. It was hard, but the savings & my health motivated me.) We all have our demons. My demons are the zombies in The Walking Dead Saints & Sinner VR game. And with the RotoVR Chair I can seriously say.."I won't stand for it"...lol. Y'all have a Blessed Day.

This was an expensive dust collector. The idea of it is cool, but only 1 game worked natively with the quest3

I have had this product for less than a week now. I enjoy the concept. When it works, it is fun. It was relatively easy to put together. The instructions were easy to follow. I thought it would help with my motion sickness, but it helped with half of it. It doesn't help with walking in VR. I still need to use the transport function while walking. I have experienced three problems. One, the puck loses connection to the chair frequently. It is annoying when you have to stop and reconnect the puck to the chair. The second problem, once I adjusted the chair height, I am no longer able to lower or raise the chair. I have submitted an email to support, but yet have no reply. And third, sometimes, turning in one direction is a lot slower than turning in the other directions. No logical pattern. Sometimes slow left, sometimes slow right. When I put the chair together, everything looked fine. However, when I tried to adjust the height, I noticed what looks like a tear. I have attached a photo to the email I sent to customer service. I really don't know what that knob does. There are no details in the instructions or pamphlets about this know. If you know, please let me know. Last thing, be aware, this chair is heavy. When the delivery company dropped this off, I had to bring this to my apartment myself. Luckily, I have a dolly. I was told that I had to request a freight option for it to be delivered to my door. However, I did not see an option for that.
