The UrayCoder provides great functionality. It is overall easy to setup and get going going. Getting the audio right if not embedded can be tricky but once set that is it. Video quality is good with no really complaints. The loop out feature for monitoring or distribution is a plus. If you want to a device to simply handle your encoding needs this is the device. The build quality is solid, clearly built to last. This is a workhorse and great value for money.

Great encoder, works perfectly I’m really happy with this encoder. The video quality is excellent, it’s easy to set up, and it supports all the protocols I need (RTMP, SRT, HLS, etc.). I use it for live streaming, and it hasn’t let me down. Highly recommend it, and thanks to the seller for a good product and fast shipping.

I have multiple of these encoders and have had no problems at all with any of them. They are very simple to setup and operate reliably on a consistent basis. Very useful for monitoring of remote productions, processes and locations such as lobbies, driveways and back docks. The SDI input makes integration into a professional environment a snap. Highly recommended and you cannot go wrong with any of the Uray products.

I bought 2 of these to stream our church services. I didn't want a software solution. This encoder works. So far it has been a good investment. It works well and the quality of the video is great.

Unit works well. GUI very utilitarian but able to set everything needed. Value priced too

Our church has been using this encoder for a couple of years. It has worked flawlessly. The WebGui configuration is very convenient. It's built well and easy to use.

I was glad that I knew something about setting up streaming encoders, because I'd have surely been lost using only the documentation provided with the encoder. I ended up just walking the menus and filling in the info needed based on experience with other encoders. Initially I ran into a problem with the sound being out of sync with the video, but a little bit of thought sorted that out. The product is in a nice metal case, and after running the encoder with live video for several days in a row, there were no overheating issues. I wouldn't call this hardware "enterprise grade" but It seems to function reliably over an extended period of time. I did not attempt to get tech support from the company, so have left that rating blank.

URayCoder has created professional video encoders and decoders that give the same, if not better experience than other brands that are three times the cost! We are up to 10 SETS of encoders and decoders sending video signals from PTZs over an internal network. LOVE that they encode in HEVC H265 which is great bandwidth savings for sending high quality video with minimal bandwidth. Don't spend your money on the big name brand units when you can get these!
