Perfect Bhai Dooj Gift: Cadbury Studio Signature Pralines Review
I gifted the Cadbury Studio Signature Pralines to my sister on Bhai Dooj, and it was a huge hit! The box looked so premium and elegant, which made it feel extra special. Each praline had a rich, creamy chocolate taste with a smooth, nutty filling that just melted in the mouth. My sister especially loved the variety—there was a good mix of flavors like hazelnut and orange that felt really luxurious. It was definitely a memorable treat and added a sweet, indulgent touch to our celebration. I'd highly recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves fine chocolates!

If you are a hazelnut lover !! This is a must buy !!
It is a treat that truly elevates the chocolate experience. The moment you unwrap it, the aroma of creamy chocolate and roasted hazelnuts fills the air, setting the stage for a rich indulgence. This praline offers a beautifully smooth, velvety texture that melts effortlessly on the tongue, with a rich layer of gianduja—a blend of chocolate and finely ground hazelnuts—giving it a nutty, decadent twist. Each bite is a perfect balance of sweetness and depth, with the hazelnut flavor bringing a warmth and sophistication to the chocolate. It’s reminiscent of a high-quality European confection, and for those who adore hazelnut, this praline hits all the right notes. The Cadbury Signature Praline Gianduja Hazelnut is an exquisite choice for a special treat, perfect for savoring slowly with a coffee or gifting to someone who appreciates fine chocolate. Highly recommended for any chocolate connoisseur!

Overhyped Packaging, Awful Chocolate!
I got these Cadbury Studio chocolates at a heavy discount because they were close to expiry, and honestly, even at that price, they weren’t worth it. The packaging and marketing make them look premium, but the actual chocolate is below average. The taste is far from what you’d expect from Cadbury—stale and unpleasant. It feels like all the effort went into making it look fancy rather than ensuring good quality. Definitely not recommended!

Not as expected in its entirety.
This product from brand ‘Cadbury’ under its ‘Studio’ range of products is a Box of ‘Assorted Signature Pralines’. One receives a total of 18 individually-wrapped and labelled ‘Pralines’ inside of the Box, 6 each in variants of: “Gianduja”: Described on its packaging as ‘Delicately Roasted Turkish Hazelnuts swirled in a smooth flavourful Ganache and draped in decadent rich Chocolate’, it is composed of ‘Hazelnut Paste’ (11%*) and ‘Hazelnut Pieces’ (7%*) among other ingredients. The ‘Chocolate’ is ‘Blended Chocolate’ as per the list of ingredients, thereby emitting a hue ‘darker’ than that of ‘Cadbury’ ‘Milk Chocolate’ in general. Upon taste, the ‘Hazelnut’ is felt in terms of flavour more so than texture. One does not, necessarily, experience a ‘nutty’ feel and/or ‘bite’ as expected via dried ‘nuts’. The ‘Hazelnut’ experienced complements the ‘Chocolate’ well enough. The ‘Hazelnut Paste’ does come through, but it is not comparable to ‘Hazelnut’ experienced via products manufactured by brands such as ‘Ferrero’ and ‘Milka’, for instance. Hence, I cannot state if or not the term “Gianduja” is justified. The ‘Ganache’ emits a hue lighter than that of the ‘Blended Chocolate’, and it is what seemingly delivers on the ‘Hazelnut’ flavour. In my humble opinion, this variant is better when had slightly chilled than at room temperature. “Chocolat A L’Orange”: Described on its packaging as ‘Sophisticated Rich Chocolate Shell surrounds a creamy Ganache with a tart Belgian Orange Twist’, it is composed of ‘Apple Orange Pieces’ (5.5%*) containing ‘Apple Puree Concentrate’ (1%) and ‘Orange Juice Concentrate’ (0.4%) among other ingredients. The ‘Chocolate’ is ‘Blended Chocolate’ as per the list of ingredients, thereby emitting a hue ‘darker’ than that of ‘Cadbury’ ‘Milk Chocolate’ in general. When unwrapped, the ‘Praline’ has a strong ‘Orange’ ‘aroma’ to it. The ‘Orange’ experienced in terms of flavour though is not the same as that via, for instance, ‘Orange Oil’ as often utilized in ‘Chocolate’-‘Orange’ based food products. It is ‘tangy’, but not distinctly sour or ‘tart’ in the slightest. The ‘Orange’ experienced is pleasing, but consumers expecting ‘stronger’ ‘Orange’ might be disappointed. The ‘Apple Orange Pieces’ provide for a ‘chewiness’ in terms of texture and occasional ‘sharp’ ‘citrusy’ ‘bursts’ of flavour when experienced sporadically. Had the variant contained ‘Candied Orange Peel’, for instance, the ‘tart’ ‘Orange’ intended could have been experienced consistently, throughout one’s consumption of the ‘Praline’. The ‘Ganache’ emits a hue lighter than that of the ‘Blended Chocolate’. In terms of flavour, however, the ‘Chocolate’ utilized in the preparation of the ‘Ganache’ does not differ from that of the ‘Blended Chocolate’. In my humble opinion, this variant can be had slightly chilled and/or at room temperature, as per personal preference. “Brownie Au Noix”: Described on its packaging as ‘Luxurious Walnuts sourced from around the world nestled in a delectable Ganache wrapped in a layer of our finest Milk Chocolate’, it is composed of ‘Walnuts’ (7%*) among other ingredients. The ‘Chocolate’ utilized is ‘Milk Chocolate’ as per the list of ingredients, which, to the best of my understanding, is ‘Cadbury’ ‘Dairy Milk’ ‘Milk Chocolate’ indeed. Upon taste, the elements promised via the variant’s name and description are experienced in ‘layers’. The ‘Chocolate’ delivers on a creaminess and sweetness, giving way to the ‘Brownie’ and ‘Walnuts’. While the description indicates the presence of ‘Ganache’ instead of ‘Brownie’, the texture and flavour experienced via the ‘Centre’ is a successful replication of ‘Brownie’ dessert. The ‘crust’ and ‘chewy’ aspects of the texture characteristic of a ‘Brownie’ are, in my humble opinion, the ‘highlight’ of this variant. The ’Walnuts’ seem to have been finely chopped. They are felt in terms of texture more so than flavour, but their inclusion is welcome: ‘Walnuts’ and ‘Brownie’ being a ‘classic’ flavour combination. In my humble opinion, this variant is better when had at room temperature (as suggested on the product’s outer packaging) than slightly chilled and/or straight out of the refrigerator. While the terms ‘Turkish’ and ‘Belgian’ utilised in the description of the “Gianduja” and “Chocolat A L’Orange” variants respectively are promising, thereby eliciting interest among consumers, the “Brownie Au Noix” variant, with its relatively ‘simpler’ description yet effective execution, truly ‘wins’ over one’s taste buds. This is an observation on my part as a consumer, and is not meant to negate the quality of the ingredients utilised in any way. Since the ‘Pralines’ are marketed as ‘Cadbury Creations’, each ‘proudly’ bearing the ‘C’ logo indicative of the same, improvements in terms of execution of the “Gianduja” and “Chocolat A L’Orange” variants can truly help them live up to the ‘Cadbury Creations’ tag. The packaging and presentation of the contents of the Box are elegant. The Box makes for a viable gifting option irrespective of the occasion. Overall, keeping one’s expectations at a realistic level, this product can be tried out.
