I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It took a few minutes to learn how to use it so it was very easy to use. Very entertaining and I am very shocked at the quality. I was able to zoom in on my fingerprint and even watch the sweat as it formed on my finger which was very entertaining. Especially once summer hits, I can see my children and I using this thing very often. Is very durable and entertaining for children! Great gift for a growing mind or even the curious individual. I feel that I will be using this thing for my own entertainment at times.

Very happy with this purchase! Our kids love seeing everything up close and it's easy to use. Such a fun thing to have with kids and sparks curiosity. Our kids love taking it on walks. We have had it for a while now and have had no problems with any of the functions. We have 5 kids 2 through 12 years and the only one who can't use it yet is the 2 year old. Probably more appropriate for any kid at least 3 or 4 years and up.

It’s a great tool for a kiddo to be able to run around outside and even find smaller things to place under it. It’s kind of like a high-tech toy. I wouldn’t necessarily consider it a tool but it’s definitely powerful enough to see some neat things. The fact that you can take pictures with it, save them and it comes with a cool carrying case makes it a win for us. The case means she can take it around to the park and play with their friends. It makes it an all-around great gift even for pre teen.

Purchased for grandsons (7 & 10) for Christmas. They love it, sparked their curiosity and it’s easy to use. Its portability also makes it possible to take outside and explore their world. I also purchased a package of premade slides (plastic), it comes with a small package of premade slides (glass). The plastic slides were a little more practical than glass. The quality is is sturdy, magnification good for beginners and the rechargeable battery lasts long enough to accommodate their attention span and no batteries to buy. Haven’t used the photo or video options yet so can’t comment on that aspect but I think the features make for a good gift for curious little minds.

Very cool technology. We found the adults using it more than the kids. Works very well.

Great magnifying and picture quality is great

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I followed the instructions exactly and charged it up. But the product was damaged and would not turn on. It also looked like it had been used and returned by someone else prior to being sent to me; so that person also probably returned it because it did not work. I was not allowed to return it. I contacted the tech support for this product as directed, but there was no response.

This is not a typical microscope, it uses a camera lens to provide magnification l. Having said that, it is still worth the money as it provides sufficient magnification to view insects, spiders, flys etc. I can make out the tiny hairs on a spiders legs and see the detail of a flys head. It ca be used without the slides for instance on a field trip to view the intricacies of plants and insects. Definitely worth the money as it ignites the desire to investigate and learn more. A good starter microscope without spending too much
