In my opinion, the biggest value in having the ANRIWT 102PCS Brass Pipe Fittings Assortment Kit on hand is the time you save by not having to run to the hardware store every time you need a fitting. These fittings are nicely-machined and come sorted in a pretty sturdy case. I own a fair amount of equipment that I maintain, and I also like to design and build things in my retirement. Common applications for the fittings in this kit are fuel, low-pressure hydraulics, air, oil or grease, combustible gas, and irrigation lines. But they are NOT for potable water or other food applications. My property is about six miles along country roads from the nearest hardware store. My truck gets about 12 MPG. I value my time at about $40/hr., which is about the average I would need to pay help in my area. So, the price of a single fitting that I don't have on hand and need, is around $4.50 for gas and $30 (45 minutes) in time, so $34.50 per occurrence,. That's not to mention that I don't finish my job it the allotted time. You get my point. So if I use a part from this kit three or four times, the kit paid for, and the rest is gravy. Anyhow, that's how I look at it. I just wish these fittings were lead-free brass. Now, that would get 5 stars for sure.
