Love the desk! Very easy to follow instructions. Assembled by myself. Sturdy.

This desk comes in a super heavy, large package, neatly organized with instructions and every piece of equipment needed. It is press wood, but it's laminated with a beautiful off-white laminate. For me it was very straightforward and easy to put together. It took me about two days by myself. It is so pretty and definitely feels executive. The drawers are really nice despite not being perfectly aligned due to building it yourself but if not pointed out, no one would notice. There's lots of space. The only issue is the top surface is a little rough, it's not smooth like you would think. That may be due to the wood-like covering on it. I'm not sure. The sellers were extremely nice as my first package was delivered to the wrong place and lost so they resent me a new one. They were very understanding and they responded very quickly when I needed help. This desk is very much worth the money and you'll be glad you bought it. I plan to keep this desk as long as it will last which I think will be a long time!

Instructions were relatively easy to follow, and the areas that were not described (a few pieces regarding the dowel placement) I was able to figure out. I am 67 years young and a female and I put this together single handed. It did take me many hours, however I did accomplish the task. The most challenging part was lifting the desk top onto the unit without causing damage and aligning all of the parts and dowels so it could be locked down, as I am only five feet tall. The very right front corner of the desk top arrived with a small area of damage at the very edge of the corner, which occurred during shipping as the box end was a bit torn up upon arrival, however it is so slight I am probably the only person that will ever notice it. I do notice I will need to make a slight adjustment on the drawer railings (I believe) for the bottom right drawer as it is not quite aligned with the drawers above it as far as side gaps are concerned although it functions with no rubbing, it just looks a little off to me. The right side cabinet door was also a bit of a challenge in adjusting the hinges, but I finally got it set right. I do not usually do reviews, however this was a task for me and I am rather proud of my accomplishment to which I believe was mostly due to the instructions provided. One step at a time. Materials are sturdy and should last for a very long time. Now I can begin sewing again.

I really like this desk! It matches perfectly with what I was going for! The quality isn’t super amazing, but definitely sturdy enough. The directions weren’t horrible, but could’ve been better on certain parts. The holes aren’t drilled amazingly, the screws are super difficult to tighten, and some of the wood had a few chips in it, HOWEVER, the drawers fit perfectly and symmetrically which is something I’ve found difficult in other furniture. I would more so rate this a 3.8, bit either way, it’s a great desk!

Gorgeous desk! A statement piece in the room for sure! Box was damaged on arrival and there was one very minor chip in the corner of one panel. Packaging could have been better. Also was tedious to put together and I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have patience. My husband is a contractor and was doing his fare share of cursing during assembly.

Loved this desk for the price especially, does take about 5 hours to put together but it’s not hard, just time consuming. The size is perfect for an executive feel

First of all, the picture does not do it justice. The seller has been stellar, answering questions right away and providing additional details in a very timely manner. We are not really DIY people and I was kind of dreading doing this tbh. But the instructions are so clear it kinda blew my mind, as most DIY assembly products are not. You could put it together solo if absolutely necessary, but it really is best for 2 people—and make sure you have 2 Phillips head screwdrivers. This is a heavyweight, kind of stalwart piece of furniture as it’s made from real wood. We’re just so happy with it. Highly recommend!
