Easy setup and works reliability

I purchased this to replace an old Motorola ma1 that had already been replaced once already under warranty and had failed again. This is smaller and setup was super simple and the ability to use any cable makes mounting it out of the way easier than the ma1 which had a fixed length and permanently attached cable. The app is a nice addition which gives me more customization options compared to the Motorola ma1. It seems to take a similar amount of time to connect to my phone as the Motorola but that wasn't a big deal, both are pretty quick. Android Auto is always running before I leave my driveway. Overall, this works well and seems to be a bit higher quality than the ma1. Only time will tell if it holds up better than the ma1.

This Actually Works!

This is the third wireless android adapter I have tried in my '23 Subaru Forester Sport. It costs a bit more than others, but it actually works (and properly). It synced up to the entertainment system quickly and easily with the system and my Samsung Galaxy 21 FE. Also, it comes right back up in a few seconds after the vehicle is started after being turned off. Unlike the others I tried, there was no need to reconnect. Google Maps worked fine as well and I could make a phone call without a problem. The sound quality and volume is excellent. Finally, now there is no need for wired connection.

Easy setup, no problems using it

Started looking into getting a wifi adapter for using android auto in my car so I could get rid of the USB cable. Saw that the previous version of this device had some good reviews, with several reviewers noting that a new version was due out before the end of the year and it was supposed to be even better. So I went to the AAWireless site and signed up to get notified when it was available. Bought it the day I got the email notification. After it showed up, it took me all of 5 minutes to get it synced to my phone and have Android Auto on the infotainment screen, but this time no wires. I'm using a Pixel 7 Pro in a 2016 Ford Focus ST. Plugged the device into the USB port in the storage area under the arm rest. Keeps it out of the way and hidden, but reachable if I ever need to hit the button on it. It's so small it fits easily with the other stuff I keep in that compartment. Then:Downloaded the AA Wireless appStarted the carRan the app and went through the bluetooth syncing/setup process in just a couple minutesWiFi came up, phone connected to itCar asked if I wanted to use the new device and run Android Auto, select yesThe map and music apps come up and it even resumes playing the song from where it left off earlierDoneNo muss no fuss.Later I added my wife's phone to it (same model as mine) since my son's been using her car lately and she's been driving mine more. Again, less than 5 minutes. And in case it gets confused over whose phone should be in control when we're both in the car, you can hit the button on it to switch to another synced phone. That worked perfectly. Using the app I also configured it to just always connect to the last device it was connected to. This also works perfectly. When we're both in the car, whoever was driving/using android auto last (usually me) gets connected. Get back in after shopping/dining/whatever, same device gets connected. When she goes to use the car without me, her phone just immediately connects. If we're both in and I'm driving after she used it last, it will connect to her phone, but she just opens the arm rest compartment, hits the button, and it's my AA now.Another nice surprise was how quickly it connects. The reviews i read of using a wireless adapter all mentioned how most would take up to a few minutes to get connected once you start the car. The AAWireless TWO is usually connected and AA is up and running before I put the car in reverse. If you add the time it used to take to plug in the USB cable (and sometimes fish it out after it got stuck under the seat or wrapped around something on the dash) and then place the phone in the holder, I think this device is actually faster.I ended up replacing my old spring-loaded claw type phone holder with a magsafe one, so now I just get in, stick the phone to the mount, start the car and everything just works. No tangled cables, no waiting for everything to connect. Couldn't be happier with it.

AAwireless Two stopped me from losing connection

I had many issues with the wire connection to my Samsung S23+ for Android Auto. During a drive, the connection would be lost and I could not reconnect. This was very frustrating. After trying different cables with no help, I purchased the AAwireless Two. The installation was very simple. In fact, I made it more difficult than needed. I thought the connection was through Bluetooth so when I saw the existing Bluetooth connection to the car was still connected, I tried to unpair it. It continued to reconnect. While this was happening, I saw Android Auto on my screen which should have told me everything was fine. So, don't make the same mistake as I did. The process is very simple. Connect the AAwireless Two to your phone and that's it. Don't worry about the Bluetooth connection.Since I've had the AAwireless installed over the last few days, I have not lost the connection. On top of that, I now have day/night display working. It was not working with the existing car app.

Great tool - some startup issues - Was able to change DPI on my 2023 Bronco sport

I have a 2023 bronco sport without the navigation. I use google maps and waze. I had the Motorola MA1, which was good. Google recently upgraded their maps and one is able to report issues by using the touchscreen. However, with the native resolution of the screen, we can't see the whole map to see the new set of icons. The MA1 did not have the ability to change the resolution by increasing the DPI (dots per inch) because there was no phone app to do that. I was able to do that with this dongle and app (the setting is 110 dpi). The initial connection was fast and seamless via the app. The one constant issue is the lag in subsequent connections. It takes a looooooong time to start up, even when the light is solid blue. I have had to unplug and plug it back to get it to connect. Once connected, it is flawless.I like it much better than the MA1.

Quick connection no setup with Chevy Trax.

Having used another wireless android device which would work with two cars but not the Chevy Trax. This one worked immediately, connect to vehicle, connect via Bluetooth via phone, and up came android auto. Exactly what is expected but nice to see it deliver so seemlessly.
