Been playing with it for a week and I am very happy with it, I set it to 1080 p and with three days worth of many hours worth of footage it was only about halfway full for the 128 gig model. The microphone is great I even took it to the shooting range because I was worried gunshots would blow out the mic but all good. The night vision works great especially as dash cam. The way it clips onto attachments is great because it slides down off the clip so its easy to switch between dash cam and body cam, which I suggest you order the magnetic body cam attachment from the same company, its strong enough that I can attach it to a thin jacket I like to wear for work. Overall very impressed, something with this many features would have either been unheard of or too expensive to own just a few years ago. Very much worth the price.

I bought this unit after my neighbor accused me of going onto their property and chasing and threatening them. Reality was their dogs charged me while I was in the road. While wearing this camera once again their dogs come accross the road to charge me. This time I peppersprayed them. The neighbors called the authorities to complain that I once again went onto their property and accousted them and sprayed their dogs. I had already given the video to authorities and would have LOVED to hear their response when the officer said "Well, I have video of the encounter." LMFAO. The dogs have not been loose since. Highly recommend. This unit has lots of options but I stay simple and only have to press one button to turn on and start recording and one button to shut off. Easy to download video onto PC. Auto detects the files.

Had this body cam for over a year using it as a dash camera. It’s the best camera I’ve owned, no issues and has an incognito mode. You can disable the lights and have the screen off while recording. If you’re going to buy a dash camera, don’t. Buy this instead. You can use it for cars or on yourself.

How many times did you say you wish you had your phone in your hand to record someone doing something stupidly unsafe while you were walking on a public sidewalk? How many times have you almost been hit by a driver not paying attention? This is probably one of the most detailed body-cams out there that isn't a Motorola V300. People are paying attention less and less and pedestrians need to have something to show to law enforcement when they almost get run over inside a crosswalk. It's solid, very high resolution... I can hear my breathing while I'm walking. I have it set to 10 minute files (this is default) and at the highest resolution it's about 800MB per 10 minutes. You'll get everything you need to file a complaint and it will be clear as your own eyes. Most police won't action solely off a witness' testimony alone but with video evidence it seems to check the boxes they need to do something about it. If you walk outside and you cross or walk on any public road you need something like this. One thing to note though... you really need to have it positioned somewhere right around your chest area (basically the same area the police mount them) so that means you'll probably want to get a magnet mount for your clothes... I got a 3 point magnet mount made by boblov... and it doesn't move at all.

Awesome works great and video quality great. I was expecting it to have a slot for external memory but it doesnt.

Use this camera everyday on my commute to work and have only charged it once in 3 weeks. Picture quality is amazing even using in infrared at night and also is the sound quality is great. Did purchase the boblov body harness also and now the camera fits on my chest and points in correct location for when i am riding my bike. All in all a good quality purchase.

I was finally able to mount this camera on a Linux system. It was initially not working and customer support thought it was because I was running Linux. It turned out the cable was defective. So 3 stars for customer support for incorrectly blaming Linux so fast.
