Lionel The Polar Express 20th Anniversary Electric O Gauge Bluetooth 5.0 Train Set with Remote

This is our second polar express after having a very well loved but still perfectly functional Lionel polar express after 15yrs. This set gives a lot for what is in the box. The lighted tender is a nice touch along with the special logos and enhanced paint scheme on the passenger cars. However you use it either under a Christmas tree or on a Lionel Train layout it will be good for years to come. Like anything there will be maintenance and the locomotive is fairly easy to troubleshoot.

The train set for its 20th anniversary was beautiful in every detail from the steam locomotive to the coaches as well as the sound effects it comes with. I'm glad that the was not a single problem that was found upon opening and playing. Polar Express fanatics, this is your one ticket chance to buy one, otherwise there will be plenty more where Lionel can make them.

Stay away From Lionel. I purchased 4 Lionel train sets and one legacy locomotive and I have had to send everyone back for some kind of repairs. This set is probably my favorite one I bought, great looking train. But a wire broke and the locomotive stared shorting out. I will not buy anther Lionel train ever. I was told MTH trains are the best, I am given them a try.

The Lionel Polar Express Train Set is fantastic! The Bluetooth connectivity makes it so easy to use and detailed design make it a standout, and the remote is easy to use. My son absolutely loves watching it circle the tree—it’s been a hit for the whole family.

Been wanting a train like this since I was a child. Loved the build of these train set. Has some good weight to it and is everything i thought it would be. The sound of the horn to the sounds of it going around the track. Inlove it all. My daughter loves it as much as I do and she wants it for her self haha, but its mine till I give it to her haha. The track size was bigger then expected but in a good way. Very happy with this product and happy I bought it. Great pricing and just happy with all the features from the smoke coming out to the characters voices coming from the train. Highly recommended

This is the 20th anniversary of the Polar Express that we set up for our grandkids and they loved it. Note: we added extra tracks and an extra car that had lighted Christmas trees&presents that are NOT part of the set. We had called Lionel before ordering because wanted to know what the difference was between the anniversary edition of the PE and the regular edition since the anniversary edition was about $100 more. I’m sorry to say that the Lionel rep said there wasn’t any difference except the writing in the sides but she was WRONG. After watching some online videos, we found that the coal car in the anniversary edition actually lights up and is golden in color whereas the regular edition is black and doesn’t light up. I wish I had gotten the Lionel reps name so I could let them know. The whole set is very cute and as I said, we bought extra track so we could put presents under the tree bc the track that comes with it makes only a small circle.

Ran around the track a total of six times before stopping suddenly. Replaced batteries in controller, followed reset procedure, verified there were no derailment. Horn, announcement, and bell worked but engine would not move. Returned for refund. Nice looking train. Disappointed it didn't work. Ordered a different train from a different manufacturer.
