great mints but horrible in this packaging of cardboard tubes (tho maybe practice for travel etc), the cardboard tubes leave a terrible paper after-taste, so buy them in canisters or in a refill bag (latter is best deal). the cardboard aftertaste is bad enough for me to have thrown away these expensive mints that i otherwise am totally addicted to!

I got a tube of these in my most recent Yuzen box. Yuzen always has great candy, so of course I immediately opened the tube to try a few. I really like these. I think they taste wonderful; the fruity flavor is quite strong and it lingers after the mints are gone -- so these really work to freshen the breath. They include both sugar alcohols and stevia sweeteners (but no sugar, which is nice -- I don't like to have my teeth coated with sugar). Xylitol is one of the ingredients, so keep these away from any cats or dogs you may have. Because these include green tea, they'll also have a lot of antioxidants. The little leaf shape is cute although a bit difficult to get out of the tube. The cardboard tube is great, though -- sturdy and recyclable, and a good size to put in a purse or desk drawer. At any rate, I'm glad to have discovered this brand. Now I'm interested in trying some of the other flavors.
